Well my T-Juice mixes of Jack the Ripple and Minty the toff have been steeping for about 2 months now and STILL I'm not getting any of the expected flavours. No Raspberry, no mint and no toffee tastes at all. In fact they both have the same weird taste that I just can't identify or describe :\ I mixed a number of 30ml and 10ml bottles of both with different amounts of concentrate but still..nada. I have a funny feeling it may be the nic base I used. About 4 months ago I purchased some nic base on offer at ecigarettedepot, got 2 x 100ml 72mg bottles and when it arrived it was yellow in color and had a strong smell to it which I thought was strange but continued to use it anyway...and these mixes are made from that base liquid. Now about 2 months ago I bought some more nic base to store away (can't remember where from) and this liquid was clear and had no big smell to it. So I'm now running a little experiment, I've made two batches of JTR and MTT using my new clear nic base from the freezer and I'm going to see if that improves the flavour any. I'll try it in a couple of weeks and if the flavour is as expected then I'll know for sure it was the smelly nic base that's the problem On the other hand T-Juice could have sent me "dodgy" concentrates, I just don't get it, there's no flavour at all.

I vape my MTT as soon as I make it. Definitely Mint Toffo.
I doubt wheteher you've got 'dodgy' concentrates, they always seem bang on to me mixed @ 20%. I've just bought 100 ml of nic base from ECD and there is zero, nil, nada smell to it. Maybe a bad batch of base??
It's also down to your tastebuds. What tastes nice to me may be absolutely disgusting to others. As always taste is subjective.

I think you've maybe kept both of them too long myself . . . they're flavours better used sooner rather than later in my experience. Though MTT I prefer left a little longer as the Minty flavour becomes more subdued, not big on mint flavours so it suits me better. What percentage did you mix them at?

I mixed the bottles in various percentages between about 10%-20% and have been trying them on and off since I mixed them. I understand people taste buds are different but I should still be able to taste the flavours surely ??? Pff I just don't know when I get paid next week I may buy a ready made bottle from T-Juice and compare the taste with my home made.

I gave up with T-juice a while ago. For me, there are far better tasting liquids out there. I had their sample pack and they all tasted a bit weak, so I bought a couple of the concentrates so I could up the %. I had RA and JTR and after much trial and error I still never really got on with them. They all have a slight musty taste to me, maybe it's the PG they use.

I reckon you're in the minority sirvapalot most people would rate t-juice as one of the better suppliers

Yeah I think that's why they were such a disappointment for me Q. I knew they were highly regarded which is why I gave them so many tries but just came back to the same conclusion each time. They didn't have a great deal of flavour however I mixed them. RA was the best of the lot but I'd still only give it 6 out of 10. JTR I couldn't get any flavour out of whatsoever. I just wanted to put my experience out there as it sounded like amygx was having similar problems to me.

The other thing that hasn't been mentioned is the kit you're vaping it on. My MTT lives in my fogger which renders flavours I can't even taste in my Nautilus.
However the fruity flavours and my Anise based flavours have always been better in the Nautilus.
Wicking material definitely makes a difference too.
Go figure!!

I am also surprised at your lack of success with T-Juice flavours sirvapalot. I have always found them full of flavour and now mix the concentrates at 17% and they do the job for me. However, I do have a Russian clone dedicated to RA and a Kayfun 3.1 clone dedicated to Minty the Toff, and either wicked with rayon or cotton wool they give superb flavour and taste on a mech mod. As Ripshod has mentioned, it might be worth trying your juices in something else before writing them off altogether; I really can't believe that they are really that bad, especially the premade ones

My problem with the pre-made ones are that they only mix at 80/20 which just too harsh for me for it to be enjoyable. I did use a kayfun with cotton wick with the RA at 20% and as I said it was OK but nothing special. I pretty much just use PT2s with airflow controllers and cotton wicks now. Get a great vape and it's a very low maintenance setup, I haven't spent a penny on vape gear this month and I probably won't need to for another 6 months or so, barring anything breaking. I guess it different strokes for different folks but for me, Chefs Vapour or Bumble Bee concentrates blow T-juice out the water and I got tired of trying to get T-juice ones to work for me.

Some flavour ranges just aren't for all people sirvapalot . . . there's a couple of brands others crack on about, they do precisely nothing for my taste buds. Be boring if the same thing suited us all.
