Hi, has anyone worked out how to make the airflow ring stay put? Mine seems to be quite loose and never stays in the same position for very long. I am forever having to readjust it and what I thought was going to be a nice feature is turning out to be a pain. Also one of my atomisers ( not atty, I'm a noob ) has a developed a burnt taste after a couple of days. Any ideas how to prevent this happening and is there a way of cleaning it so I can use it again. After being quite happy with my Rok Star to start with I'm less impressed after a few days and now I just use batteries with other 510 atomisers and tanks instead.

Hi, the ROK Star does seem to have a problem with loose control rings, I just fiddle with mine b4 I use it. It does need to be sorted by ROK, as it seems to be a quite common complaint. > PM'ed Ya with an idea as to how to solve ur problem.......

Can you not stick it in place with a small lump of blu-tack/chewing gum etc?

Hello & welcome again Ty You could try putting your burnt tasting atomiser in boiling water - it will either cure it or kill it. Sorry, I know that doesn't sound very helpful but it is worth a try. Any burnt taste is usually due to vaping atties/cartos too dry.

I got an email from Rok Star about my problems. Here are their suggestions :
To fix the air flow problem simply set the airflow and then remove the airflow band completely. I've tried it and used a paper clip to fine tune and it is a lot lot better.
For the burnt atomiser problem he suggested attaching the atomiser to the battery on its own without the tank and then giving a few blasts on the battery button. I havent tried this yet.

attaching the atty to battery sounds like giving it a dry burn... if you can see the coil when you do this it will glow red and then the built up dark deposits will turn white after a couple of blasts

I gave my atties a 'dry burn' last nite and it worked really well for refreshing the tired atties, getting far more taste and they seem alot better than a new atty, maybe cos it's broken in ?
As for the air flow adjustment, I must be one of the lucky few who does not suffer with it at all ! I just make sure its fitted all the way down onto the battery connection and that seems to help keep it in place. It only came loose once and a simple re-adjustment sorted that out straight away.
