3 people have asked me for this recipe after tasting it so I thought I would post it up.
Another custard I'm afraid. I spent a long time tweaking my recipe to come up with this. At the time there was nothing similar on the recipes but there may be now. Infact I know there is one very similar I saw posted up.
I make two versions but there is only a slight difference.
I use 72mg , 100%vg nic base, pg and AG ( not vg )
I mix at 50/50.
It is quite a simple recipe -
16% Capella Vanilla Custard 2% TPA Dulche De Leche.
My other version has a drop or two of TPA sweetner added. ( per 10ml )
Perfected this earlier in the year and was so pleased was making it by the bucket load in May -

and again in July -

No need to be bashful Sammy . . . there's no such thing as a ' best ' recipe of anything to me, only what suits you and you enjoy.

I'll give it a try in the near future (when I need more concs) because I STILL haven't found a custard that ticles my fancy.... even CLC its OK but I'm still looking for a more custardy flavour

Will give this a go sammy13, I'm going to make samples of all the custard recipes on the site to see which one is the best on here. I do love PVC, but want to give everyone else's a try too. Lots of custard to enjoy.

I've tried out a few custards and decided I just dont like the flavour... and then what goes and happens? I try out nickoticket's creme brulee and I absolutely love it!! absolutely lush, and pricey and no concentrate! I just KNEW this would happen to me

oooh I agree Pepperty nicotickets creme brulee is flippin gorgeous!! sammy13 - your recipe is similar to one I found that was sposed to be virtually identical to GVC (except the GVC one had EM in it). On a scale of 1 to Grants, how close to you reckon yours tastes? Just wondering cos I so want to find a diy recipe that's GVCish, and the clone version I made - while really nice - just wasn't it

I tried and tried - tweaking this and that, tasting Grants then mine, and I would say the only difference is that mine has more depth, it is a tad thicker/ creamier something, but the taste is real close.
I use AG, and 100%vg nic so that may have something to do with it.

That's interesting to know - maybe AG is the missing component! I shall have to get some and experiment. Already have VG Nic, and will try using sweetner instead of EM... Thank you

Thank you loads for the offer but I can't vape anything higher than 5 or 6mg anymore, so 16mg would blow my head off!!! I'll order some AG to use and make some up Vaping on Grants at the mo and I wish I could put my finger on what makes it so unique. Have tried many custards, some really lovely ones, but none taste anything like GVC!!

Ok, good luck , the longer you steep it, it will get creamier and thicker than grants, but the taste is still there - mind you I have never had a bottle of grants last 3 months lol.
Maybe try it each week see what you think upto 2 month that is what I did.
I find the same thing, Grants is unique, I got mine this close and it is not exact, but damn close , I could have kept tweaking and one day probably will but for now its a close relative
