The interviewer is good, but you can tell that now big tobacco have entered the market the WHO are using that as an excuse to continue their war with them despite the collateral damage that may cause to the millions that can't/won't quit nic.

OK! problem solved, lets all go back to smoking and kill ourselves and a few others with passive smoking, cost the NHS millions a year in caring for us, and put some more Cig Tax in the Governments pockets, we can also then try to give it up and spend a fortune on NRT's that are proven not to work in most cases, these people at WHO must have their heads up their arses, I've never heard so much crap in all my life, a little committee with no evidence sit and tell 2 millions plus users in the UK alone that we are all wrong, the only proven thing that may be harmful is Nicotine and that has to be in such a high dose that it's virtually imposable to reach it, the PG, VG and concentrates are proven safe that's why it's in nearly everything we eat or drink, I'd do more damage to my health by dropping my E-cig on my toe, Rant Over Mow,,,

It`s a pity the point wasn`t made that nicotine DOES NOT give you cancer. It`s a message that really needs to be emphasised.

This is positive newsThe WHO are an unelected body set up by the UN IIRC, not a government, but governments listen to them so a softening in their position is good not bad news. Lets Hope that our Government listens to the 2 million plus users here in the UK,

I quit smoking in April. My GP now has me down as a non-smoker. Does this mean I shouldn't be sold e-cigs and juice anymore??
The mind boggles, their whole idea is nonsense.
I agree that there should be some regulation, but to ban e-cigs for non-smokers is a minefield of contrary rulings. Just plain DAFT!!

Itv twisted it too. Has anyone seen these e-cig vending machines they want banning? I haven't. You need to blame the E-Lites man on UKV. He, who for 2 years insisted E-Lites were a quality product. not that he used them himself, you understand....

Just heard about this, it makes you feel like your'e hitting your head against a brick wall all the time Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Also we're now going to have a ton of people now telling us 'smoking these things are not safe for you and those around you' rather than 'vaping is much more healthier for you and doesn't affect those near you either'

Channel 5 news had some twit on saying e-cigs have cancer giving chemicals in them just where do they drag these "scientists" up from? Makes your blood boil as for banning flavours that's so stupid we would just add food flavourings as we do now.

The simple fact is the governments do want us dyeing off early. That way soon as we stop working we draw pensions clog up the services etccetc.if we all carry on killing our selfes pouring cash into there coffers through extortionate tax on smokes then they are happy. I wish they had the balls to admit this. The fact is by making the decision to vape we will live longer in theory pay no tax on stinkies as we stop thus costing them more money both ways they loose. So they tax the crap out of vapeing regulate it into the ground because those corrupt officials that less than 30 % elected want their Directorship's and gold plated jaguars. + we must pay for their snuff / booze / fillet steaks in the house of commons lol ohh the hypocrisy Have you seen the smoking room in Brusselse the EU gravy train lot use?

This is such a shame that vaping is seen like this by governing bodies. Fact! it does help people quit smoking I can confirm that being cigarette free for 7 months.
Based on their arguments alcohol is a much more dangerous substance, why not ban this. So alco-pops don't encourage kids to drink with there fruity flavours, I have not seen a vaper having to much nicotine and A get aggressive B start a fight C drive dangerous under the influence of nicotine D not to mention all the other drink related incidents, so if they really want to ban dangerous substances alcohol and cigarettes should be banned/more heavily restricted.
And let's not also forget how much money the various governments will lose in taxes each day if every smoker quits and turns to e-cigs I think this is the main driving force behind why they are trying to condemn the use of e-cigs and scaremonger the general public against e-cigs.

.. and why do the BBC insist on turning to E-Lites for comment? Has it not occurred to them that maybe E-Lites are the biggest because they sell the most (£s), because the product is FOUR times as expensive as other brands competing in the market place. anyhow, E-Lites are owned by a Tobacco company, so no comment from them can be trusted... not that it ever was.... the biggest "con" on the market. E-Lites are partly responsible for many people NOT taking vaping seriously. It grinds my flippin' gears.
