Let's face it if the WHO actually gave a dam they would ban ciggaretts completely .
I wonder who at the WHO has been offered what directorship at which big pharma or tobacco company.
Not that I'm synical of course.

One small step in the right direction, but organisations like the WHO are never going to change their position quickly. They still want to ban flavours, but have backed off from wanting to ban e-cigs which is very valuable for us as their opinion will always carry a lot of weight with regulators and journalists who have up until now being able to say the WHO want them banned.

It really is time the WHO or the NHS did a proper study of vaping versus the other crap that is available as it is a probable way of saving lives and saving money for the NHS to spend on other things.

Oh for feck sake (sorry if I can't say that!) but all this news just gets me worried and panicking about the future. The government obviously have nothing better to do or concentrate on than a group of like minded people trying to prolong their lives without the use of their pocket lining cancer sticks!

I really dont think there is much to worry about Mrsmac , we are part of a big lobby now, well over 2 million vapers, that`s a possible government changing amount of people

I do hope so robby, it can be fun enough trying out gear and juices but when you keep hearing that the government want to ban this that and the other, I sometimes wonder what I am doing and tart stockpiling like crazy only to realise I like something else and go crazy again...I just want to enjoy the vape, I still dual fuel using one a day in the evening which I am phasing out...oh well

Keep on vaping Mrsmac , I really think it is unstoppable now and I dont think that is being complacent. We all know that vaping works and gets more people off the stinkies than any other method and does it safely. There will be people here who think it`s a complacent way to think, but I dont agree. It`s too big now to stop.

This is positive news

The WHO are an unelected body set up by the UN IIRC, not a government, but governments listen to them so a softening in their position is good not bad news.

the best thing about shinyitus is that you tend to gather up enough gear to last a few lifetimes lol , and the juice will always be available from China
