no this is the exact thing we are explaining here on this thread Macca... its a tank that encloses a carto and keeps it filled with juice via a tiny hole in the side of the cart. they fit and work great on a lavatube only thing i would say is for me the hole in the pre holed cartos is a bit too small for alot of juices. so i end up getting the regular cartos and making the hole myself... see the first page

Don't be daft Macca . . . it's a job and a half keeping up with all the new vaping equipment coming onto the market, at it seems an almost daily rate.

come outta the corner you got the idea now they're a great cheap device that saves the faff of frequent topping of the carto ..one fill of the tank and you are set ... not only do you get a nicely filled carto but it also extends the life of the carto as it never dries out.

So why would these be better than a CE2 or a CE3? Is it just the volume of liquid they can hold?
Will a standard resistance CE2 or CE3 fit my KR808D-1 battery?

well its all down to personal preference... i like the CE2's but found them too fragile. would love to have a CE2 tank but they're hard to come by.
they should be fine on your battery so long as you get 808 versions or 510s with an adapter

I was reading somewhere that CE3 do not have a the wick the CE2 has and hence is better.. These any good? www.centraltrade.eu/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=56I can't seem to find any on any UK websites though haven't looked very hard, I must confess..

CE2 have the coil at the top of the tube and wicks that extend down to the bottom of the tube CE3 have the coil at the bottom and use gravity to feed it, therefore dont need the long wicks

The other one I'd add to this now is this one: www.gotvapes.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=141The first one of these I got has been brilliant and in regular use for weeks with no problem. The second one did not work though and is awaiting a re-wicking operation. They are out of stock at the moment and they are apparently going to be selling wick and coil kits to go with them. When they do that I think they will be excellent value for money.

I've got two things to say about the chibi tanks I got from Parkes... On initial examination, they didn't look very impressive at all. In fact, I believe it kinda put Peekay off using them (tbh, had I the materials, I could have put something pretty much teh same together and probably have it looking more polished). The trim and cut of the actual tube is a little... rough... shall we say. However. They don't leak (or at least if they do, it's usually due to not being careful filling 'em as it's possible to push juice out of the bottom of the carto, but once learned, never forgotten). They're easy to fill (especially with the needle caps you can get for bottles now). They'll take both boge and kanger cartos (I've used both, and tbh am torn between the two, even though if I just use a carto on it's own I'll go kanger all the way). Now, for near the same price, you can get a Stardust (I know, it's not a carto tank), and I'm looking forward to receiving mine. But since I got my chibis, I've not really gone back to cartos for anything other than trying a new juice that I don't want to have to worry about taking out of the tank if I don't like it, or dripping onto an atomiser (and the difference between direct dripping and using a carto is distinct enough that if I don't like one method, I'll try the other just to be certain before relegating the juice to the back of the cupboard) So yeah, my chibis might not be the prettiest. But I wouldn't get rid of 'em for the world right now

But hey, that's just my opinion, as the saying goes... "Your mileage may vary"

Yes I think you are right Gordy - when they come, the replacement innards will be just one piece, but apparently they will only cost about $3. Looks like it will be a few weeks before they arrive though!
