Some years ago our young cat LB (little bugger) shot through the living roomwindow with what looked like a huge rat in his mouth, he dived behind the settee and started growling. My then other half moved the settee away from the wall and I dived on the cat complete with towel to wrap him and the rat in. Mission succesful separated cat from victim only to find it wasn't a rat at all it was ---------------- a joint of beef! nicely roasted rare still hot and covered in cat teeth marks.
I still today wonder where he stole it from and still laugh at the thought of whoever cooked it wondering what the hell they had done with their sunday lunch!

Is your cat fascinated by vape gear too? Ours rubs up against the driptips (knocking everything over) If he gets really bored he'll knock my mvp off the table on purpose

I lived in Camden Town for a few years. There was a BIG community garden out the back of our place. The only thing our cat dragged back in was itself after having another fight.

I'm glad it isn't just our cat that's weird I wonder if most cats like vaping. I know that pg can be fatal to cats but that's only if they drink a lot of it (they can't digest it apparently). He's never shown any interest in the liquid, so all's good

I keep all my liquids away from my cats I store them in a carrier bag attached to the side of the washing machine by a large magnet and with the washing machine being on twice a day it keeps liquids well mixed

As an aside there was a semi feral terrier at a farm I was working at, the one that would retrieve golf balls from water. Nearly every day he'd fetch us a rabbit!!
With the state he was in I always assumed he'd already eaten one.

Last winter, Ripper was having his evening constitutional, so I had to leave the french window open awaiting his return. Was in the bedroom when I heard scuffling in the living room, went into the living room but all was as it should be, no sign of ripper, carried on doing what I was doing, came back in a short time later, Ripper is sitting by the french windows and making this "PAH" noise, so I checked him and he is literally foaming at the mouth! I wipe his mouth trying to check if there is something stuck and he is dribbling all over the place, get bit a few times for my pains and he runs off. Naturally I am worried, so wait for him to come back, see him sitting outside, still foaming and dribbling, so I go to get the phone to call the vet and as I pick up the phone, I notice what appears to be a ball of something on the floor, under the draft excluder, it was quite literally jammed under the door! I managed to get it out and found it was a massive toad still alive BTW so I scooped it up in the dust pan and put it outside in the front garden under a bush. Went back in to check Ripper and he was okay, mouth not foaming. I can only assume that he picked it up on his mouth and tried to bite it and the toad squirted something in his mouth which made him drop it and the toad trying to escape somehow got jammed under the draft excluder, somehow I think toads will be off the menu from now on lol!!
