Thats what i thought bob, who uses nichrome these days. Dont hear it mentioned much anymore. But for less than 2 quid for 50 its a time saver for sure.

Bought 200 of the top ones. They look good in real life. Not used any yet though but previous 1.8ohms ones come out at 1.8ohms!

I never found them again, so I ordered no wick 1.5ohm ones. They arrived and are all 1.0ohm, so won't fire on anything but a mech.

Not overly happy about this, but they were only £1.50 or something.

I'll try again next order.

I tried out some of the 2.8 ohm non wicked ones yesterday, seem to be working fine, just need flaming first to stop metal taste.
