The switch of my Panzer clone has just spontaneously disintegrated.
Managed to locate all the bits (I think) except the spring, which appears to have bounced into the twilight zone and vanished forever.
I am reluctant to chuck the entire mod away because of a spring lack. Anyone any idea where I can buy one?

Can't help you with advice on where to buy one OliverB, but rest assured that as soon as you hit the 'Buy Now' button you'll step on it - and with bare feet too

I have some magnets I got for the Nemesis, but reconstructing the switch is much too faffy for my dithering digits.
I keep DROPPING BITS!
Grr.
I'll try again tomorrow when I'm not so filled with rage and cheese.

Really not sure what you're saying there, I use a 20G kanthal spring in my copper pegasus running a 0.08ohm dual coil in the atty and nothing gets hot. The original spring couldn't take the ohms and collapsed but even then it didn't get hot but I made a new one from the kanthal and it's been great ever since. So yeh, no idea what you're on about

So yeh, no idea what you're on about Well its quite simple really - kanthal is resistance wire - when it gets a current it gets hot. But while your switch is clean this wont be a problem - the electricity will just go through the metal where it touches. But, as you discovered with your last spring, the current may decide its easier to pass through the kanthal, at the point the resistance is lower to travel that rout. That's when your going to need the towel.

Well there you go, I always assumed it was the wick that heated up hahaha I've been vaping down the low end for a while now bud, I do know about coils. One of my favourite set ups is a 0.08ohm build which is pushing 60 amps and over 200watts on a fresh battery lol Also I'm a mech man all the way and understand perfectly how they work and also about which batteries are safe to use so yeh, it's all good and yeh, a kanthal spring works great. Vape on!
