So yes j have taken up vaping and stopped smoking. Yes I feel. Healthier for it. Yes I enjoy it more......great!

But....If this change is meant to save me money I am doing something majorly wrong! This is surely to do with my addictive personality but I can't seem to do anything to change it!

I have even considered offending the local B & M purveyor to get a ban from the shop and ditching Internet access, credit cards and even cash but I would probably just trade my body for some custard.......

Panic not!! even at 'full throttle shineyitus spend' its still cheaper than £7 a pack of fags. And I can confirm it calms down in time. I'm 10 months in, and smoke free and still have a credit/debit card that isn't maxed to the hilt!

Oh! and i'm happy and content with my 6-8 mods/max

Lucky for you, I am a vaping counsellor  and here is my counsel

At my local shop Marlbro Lights are £9 for 20
I used to smoke 30 a day
That is £94.50 per week
If you are spending less than £94.50 per week on vaping, not only are you in better health but

YOU ARE SAVING MONEY

I could counsel too ! I used to smoke a cheaper brand at £6.25 a pack (for 19) thats still £43.75 a week and there is no way I have spent £189.58 a month on vaping so just enjoy the vape

I've been vaping about as long as Pepperty, and my shinyitis has slowed down in the last couple of months.

Here's what I suggest:
1. Understand that a mod is just a battery holder. Find some that you like the look of and be happy, they all do the same job. At some point you'll buy an expensive one - but don't feel bad about it, it will hold it's value well and can be traded if you ever get bored of it.

2. Learn to recoil. Do it as early as you can, as it will open up the world of rebuildables and once mastered this will cut down on your faff and daily expenditure. This is closely linked to:

3. Try a range of different atties. This is where clones are a godsend, as they keep the spend to a minimum. Try ones that offer something different - for example, a tank atty like a Kayfun, a genesis atty like a Kraken, a filler atty like a Heron and a dripper like an Origen. Work out what suits you, and then go down that path - you can trade the ones you don't like, and upgrade to the real deal in time if you want to. For example, I've tried most of the tank atties out there - kayfuns, taifuns etc - and I've found that while they are good, I prefer a filler atty. I was sorely tempted with the Rose clone group buys because I've heard great things, but I remembered that while the vape may be better, it won't be that much better.

4. You can only use one drip tip at a time, and they are a pain to trade. Have a selection, but don't go crazy. I have failed on this point miserably!

Having typed all that, remember that anything you buy is not a cigarette, you're doing fantastically and so keep the postie busy if it helps you stay off the stinkies!
