how do people do it? like how much do they make to test the flavour, do they use nic aswell?

I make a 10ml bottle, I usually copy a pre-existing recipe but have been known to make my own up, that way is a lot of guesswork but so far I've been lucky

Tried a chocolate mint combination, made 5 ml at certain proportions then fiddled with it till I got the after 8 taste i wanted. Yes put nic base in then when I got it right made itat the strength I vape at

I add my pg based flavourings to VG, I don't add any nic untill I know I'm gonna like it, the nic changes the taste slightly , I normally mix my liquid at around 12mg so I add 5ml of 72mg nic to a 30ml mix, when I'm trying new flavours I do a 2.5ml mix, allowing for the addition of .5ml of nic base if needed, it keeps my ratios simple, I increase all the ingredients by a factor of 10 then I work from there, even if I'm doing a larger mix I always use multiples of 30ml

New recipes I always mix at my normal nic %, currently 12mg, and I make up 10ml... only 1 or 2 have been completely un-vapable. My thinking is, if I really like it, I'll be annoyed if I only make 3-5ml and have to make more so quickly. I also find that by the 2nd tank, I can taste it better and know what needs tweaking in the next batch

I mix 3-5ml of a new flavour and it all depends on the brand what percentage I'll use. I normally have a Google search to try and gauge what percentages people recommend. If I cannot find any information then I'll just use 15% and work from there.

I always include nic in my test mixes as nic effects the flavour and throat hit of a juice.

At least 2 weeks, but normally 4-5 weeks.

I mix a new test flavour in 10 ml as well but I usually test 1 ml a week for about 10 weeks. It's interesting to plot the change over that amount of time.

i tend to prefer juices that are less steepd as i think they loose flavour after 4+ weeks, so little test every 7 days sounds good

I always mix at least 30ml, can't be faffed with smaller bottles and I'd rather it naff and not use than be great and hardly have any without waiting for it to seep again.

I found one of my favourites by mixing two juices I had already steeped. I thought one night that I'd love a bananna rum. Nowhere here sells it any more, so I took some old bananna I had and some freshly steeped rum, mixed them by eye in a MPT3 and thought, yup, worth doing a full batch. Never without this mix now. Basically, I knew the original mixes, and only had to balance them which was easily done by mixing after making individually until I reached the 80 rum/20 bananna ratio. A little maths and had my new recipe.

i have got a few wierd ideas i want to try decided on 3ml at a time til i get the flavour rignt, what is used when dealing with such small amounts? a 1ml syringe?
