Just thought id ask....Is it possible to weaken a strong flavour instead of chucking it in the bin ? Ive mixed up some CCW pear (be jezus its strong!) at 20% & its far too strong
my mix was:
PG or VG with nicotine 1.4 ml 14.0% PG or VG (no nicotine) 6.6 ml 66.0% Flavoring 2.0 ml 20.0%
I know its only 10ml....but 10ml is 10ml !!!!...& im so tight I make scrooge look like a charity !!

I normally do what ronaldo suggested, it works a treat If it's still too strong just weaken it again with another 5ml or so til it tastes right. I often keep some unflavored already mixed nic, VG and PG at hand so I can weaken a mix if need be. I try not to throw anything away lol!

Other combinations are available, but my non-mathematical brain can't get any more complicated that that example!

A good rule of thumb is first time you use a flavour even a flavour you have used before but from a different maker - start very low and work up ,diving straight in at 20% is not advised If you find any flavouring incredibly strong write a note on the bottle Example : max 2%

Yeah....kinda learnt the hard way with that one....saw everyone saying that CCW concentrates were quite weak so I went straight in with 20% on all of them!....now im finding out which ones are ok & which ones are too strong!....although im thinking it might also be something to do with the plastic bottles im using as im getting a weird taste (same weird taste) with most of them i test

Did you wash plastic bottles before using them.

Did you wash plastic bottles before using them. I don't . . . but others do, If you are finding a ' taste ' with them, then it's probably an idea to markus. In response to your earlier question, any new flavourings I receive - first I do a lick test to gauge an idea of their strength for my tastes. Just pop a dab on your tongue, see what you think. That always helps me decide what percentage to mix at.

No rocket science attached to my lick test markus. I can't be doing with washing bottles either, but then I've not had any issues with a plastic taste . . . I've bought a couple of lots of the Amazon ones also. Guess we all pick up on things differently.

Well Im not really sure it is the bottles ...just seems a bit strange im getting the same funny taste with some & not with others, at first I did wonder if it was to much concentration....if not then possibly something in the concentrate reacting with the plastic bottle ?, It started with the pear one, but when I mixed it with some caramel it dissapeared....
