Hi All, I'm not exactly a vaping virgin, several years ago I dabbled with it, using 901s I think they were, and a Janty. Far too much faffing around with battery changes and topping up the carts every 10 minutes. I've started looking into vaping again recently, and came across this forum. You guys seem very knowledgeable and friendly, so I joined up. Using info and recommendations I found on here, I ordered starter packs from MyEpack for my wife and I. We received our Mini Protank IIs a couple of days ago, and, well, what can I say ? Very impressed with the experience compared to my last try ! I even ordered a mod ( I do have a tendency towards 'shinyitis' ), a VTR iirc. I still have to learn all the techy names and acronyms ie; is a 'tank' just another name for a 'clearomiser' ? I do have a question tho, I am looking for a device for use at work, it needs to be able to last 12 hours without recharging, and be substantially built enough to put up with dust, heat and the occasional knock. On my shortlist for that atm is the MVP from MyEpack, good choice ? Or am I heading down the wrong street ? Also, any recommendations for multi-outlet USB mains adaptor ? Thanks in advance for any replies.

Welcome to you Nosmo-King. Ecig equipment has moved on hugely since the 901 days, though I must confess to still having a good stock of them, which I use for direct dripping. You can't go far wrong with an MVP - it's a great device and with the long lasting internal battery - there's no need for a separate charger & batteries.

Hi Folks, and many thanks for the warm welcome, particularly 'Pep' for the compliment . I'm sure I will have many questions and advice to ask of you guys, until I become well-versed enough myself to offer guidance to newbies coming after me.

nosmo-King vtr is excellent kit but the atty threads are weak, suggest you buy a smok airflow controller from vape escape and screw that into the vtr and then your atty into that, hence the threads on the vtr are hardly ever used.

Welcome Nosmo. The MVP is great, but the "free" tank is suspect if you ask me. Something with a BVC coil in it should work better. I am trialing the new Aspire quite soon... NOT the Nautilus one, but the smaller CE type.

Heyas and welcome, the MVP is a great bit of kit long lasting battery and pretty solid. If you don't mind taking spare battery to work then the vtr is bloody solid.

Hi Nosmo-King, and a warm welcome from me too! Sounds like you are sorted - if the Mini Protanks had been around when I first started I would have had a much better initial experience. I don't own an MVP but I know that they are well respected mods with a fantastic battery life and the advantage that you can charge them whilst on pass-through!
