Can juices "split"?

Hi,

I'm having an odd problem with juicejoose pineapple and I'm wondering if it is something I have / haven't done?

Every now and again I have a tank of the above that starts giving a very sharp unpleasant taste. On one occasion I also had a layer of clear liquid form on top of a denser "oily looking" layer that would resist shaking and simply separate again.

Am I doing something wrong in the steeping process?

Or are the heads I have been recoiling causing it?

I have the same with Tjuice Afro Dizziac satanswombat . . . which I ignore, as I know others find similar.

It will be something in the concentrate that's causing it, not something you've done.
