So i was browsing around at safercigs, looking at bud tanks, and noticed that the ritchy era cartos are available separately from the starter kit.
They are prefilled, so I have two questions:
i) has anybody tried these on a Riva battery - are they OK resistance wise?
ii) how easy are they to fill? I don't have a syringe, but I do have a needle cap for a juice bottle (courtesy of Jason)

im not sure they have stock in yet but they can be used on any 510 device... i think they are 3ohms if my memory serves ...Hifi Stud reviewed them on VTTV a few weeks back and they performed really well even at such a high resistance. simple to refill you can inject them with your needle cap through the top mouth piece and they hold an amazing 4ml

Tx Gordy - yeah, I've been reading mixed reviews of the bud, but I'm attracted to the faff free filling, so might give them a go too. IIRC Keith from the Haze Hour liked them I'll probably go for the VG ones - in both cases it will have to wait until after Chrimbo.

yeah if you go for the VG one it may wick better as that was the problem i had... they are faff free and nice to carry around but too many dry hits for my liking

aiui they have a tight draw, but loosening off from the battery helps. I'll just have to get one now to see

I got some Buds from Steve to try . . . and I have to say they're easier than an easy thing to fill, a real doddle.
I've found the flavour from them to be excellent as well, despite reading reports to the contrary.
Only using all PG or PG heavy juices there've been no issues with wicking for me.
My only criticism and it's a personal one, is I don't particularly like the thin whistle tip mouthpiece . . . I'd rather have something a bit chunkier.

Era cartos are 2ml max, although I would suggest a lower fill to avoid the possibility of excess juice suckle. They perform amazingly well for a 3 Ohm carto.
