So Im moving into cleaning with Vodka for the first time I own a Kanger Aerotank, Megatank and an Aspire Nautlius. I know to leave a coil in some vodka overnight, but was wondering if I could put the bases and the drip tips into the Vodka too?

The reaction of a dental tablet releasing gasses is the best cleaner you'll find for coils. As for tanks, I swear by fairy platinum. 30 mins each and a good rinse and all previous taste is gone (menthol can be harder on wicks).

Sorry I thought I had read that Iso Alcohol wasnt safe? www.scsvape.com/index.php/how-it-works/And also that the denture things can release harmful chemicals from the steel/metal parts? Cant find the place I read that though, sorry. Its why Ive gone down the Vodka route (honest) That said Ive given up on the Aspire Nauticulus as Im fed up going down to the garage and putting it in a vice to get it unscrewed > But Ive still got Kanger Megas and Im curious about trying to clean the coils, so they last longer. I thought it was custard that was quite hard on the coils and Ive started vaping them more recently, moving away from the menthol. When on menthol the Kanger coils could last up to 2 weeks each, but on the custards Im finding after a few days the cotton has come out of the holes (in the new kanger coils) in slender little strands and leakage begins

IPA is as safe as the person using it. It's alcohol, therefore it's flammable. Always use and store in a well ventilated place. Tells you this on the can/bottle.
If I need to work on a circuit board the first thing I do is give it an IPA bath, with everything on the board, ie plastics, glass. We used to clean vinyl records and tape heads with it (yh, I'm OLD).
The other beauty of the stuff is it absorbs water, so can be used as the first treatment for wet circuit boards.
Can be used to clean electrical contacts as it leaves no residue - much better than the available 'switch cleaners' which often contain a lubricant as well.
btw, the page you linked to is loaded with errors and so should only be considered along side better info from elsewhere. I'd compile a list of the errors, but I have more important stuff to do, like living.
ISO9000!! What's that about? In the UK we were working to ISO9001 in the 90's!!
