My ltr was delivered today Ron,cost me £47in total, this is the 3rd lot i have had from NV and haven't yet paid any duties,chatting to the postie she said i was just lucky..good luck with your order.

Hopefully your postie is and understanding soul as I was informed that it is illegal to transport nicotine by royal mail.

Well i never transported it, i received it,when i import any goods legally into the uk i have no control who the uk courier will be, as the package is clearly labeled 75% nicotine vg and of course there is the customs declaration from the vendor i would assume that Royal Mail/Parcel Force are happy to transport the goods to the final destination.. do you ever purchase e liquids via the web?

I tried to return cartomisers to nicocig via royal mail and they asked what was in it, when I told them they refused to take it saying it was against regulations. I relabelled it with the address but not the company name, went to a different post office and when asked told them it was small jewellery boxes and managed to get them sent that way.

Yea i understand what your saying bonnieboy.. YOU LIED... I did not,Royal Mail/parcel Force chose to deliver my item, people on this forum including myself have been buying mods from china with li-po batteries installed ie istick mvp2, who brings them to your door..Yep Royal mail...(but but batteries are banned) same as e liq containing nic, like i said i have no control who makes the final delivery of imported goods, the onus is on RM/PF whether to handle these goods from the uk sorting hubs,UK vendors who sell these goods ship thousands of batteries, nic base e liquid every week via RM so All the BM stores E Bay are all breaching the policy of RM goods in transit regs, that is of course if they use RM to deliver their goods,and most of the stuff i buy from the uk gets delivered by RM.

It was pretty quick this time jcol and the nic has a slight tinge to it,got no complaints whatsoever..i buy 75% vg dont know about the PG never bought it.

If one day customs do stumble on an order going through would you just have to pay the charges or would it get seized ? I thought I read somewhere the legal limit for nicotine liquid in UK was 72mg ?

It is indeed 72 75mg markus . . . anything higher then you need a Poisons Licence to import it.

If any parcel attracts Customs attention, that isn't an illegal import then you'll be liable to pay excess duty and a handling charge from PF. Notification of which you get via a card from your postie.

Or if it's a tracked parcel, then you can do the necessary payments online I think - though I've always toddled off to the Sorting Office paid up/collected my parcel at the same time.

You may also get an invoice/bill for vat/duty handling from a courier company as some send them a few weeks after delivery
