got the glycerin now what

 got the glycerin from boots to day ,and i know i have to thin it by 15% per 100 mil but what do you use to thin it with ,have read it somewhere you use distill water ,but where do you buy it

you can use vodka, or if you're using a some PG in your mix you may not have to thin it at all

I don't bother thinning VG at all if I have a pg based flavour even for a high vg mix. If your nic is pg too I wouldn't see the need to thin it at all. Just my opinion though! Plus I would hate to waste vodka!

If you really want to dilute it, take a pan, put in some water, bring it to the boil.
Float a bowl in the water, and put the lid on the pan upside down.
After a couple of mins, you'll have enough distilled water in the bowl for your needs!

Even at 60/40, I don't bother diluting VG.

Same here. I use 50/50 and don't thin. I did use a tiny bit of vodka in the beginning but using a 60 mil syringe...no need.

When I started mixing I used used to dilute my VG by 10% with distilled water.
Now I don't bother.
I noticed it was almost dumbing down the flavours slightly.
Did a side by side test and tbh once mixed up with pg and flavours the viscosity was pretty similar.
Only time I might do that was if I were using top could attys like I clear 30 as thinner liquid would aid with wicking.
I normally mix at 50/50

Just finished an afternoon mixing session, first time I've used boots glycerine. I did not dilute it as I thought that was what I'd read but was not 100% certain about what I was doing. Then I read the first post and totally panicked and wondered what the hell I would do with all these bottles I'd made . Thank goodness I kept reading before I took off in a flat spin

thanks all for the tips ,have water boiling with bowl in it thing i will thin it down to about 10% any thing i buy its all from totally wicket ,the nic its pg and the base is ag,so with me buying glycerin and thining it down will it then turn in2 ag

Why don't you keep a small amount back undiluted flynn, just to compare the difference . . . you might enjoy it more than what you have been using?

I only use VG bases and don't thin down my added VG at all - never have wicking or leaking issues either, just lots of lovely vapour.

I'm another one that doesn't dilute my VG even when mixing 80/20 mixes, although at those ratios wicking needs to be impeccable to vape at my preferred 20w

Although I don't use a syringe, I just tip into measuring cylinders

I never thin mine either. Been vaping 70% VG for months now. Wicks fine in all my atties, including kangers and aspires.
