As a fairly inexperienced mixer can anybody clarify a vg issue please. Is a box standard chemist/supermarket glycerine a vg useable or is this stuff a no go to vape with. Thanx. L

I use vg from boots. 200ml, last time I bought was £1.29, don't know if they have doubled the price due to it flying off the shelves from vapers buying it!!!!

EDIT: no it's still £1.29....

We're lucky to find one or two bottles of VG for sale on the shelf in our local chemists, they seem to like to ration it!

We're lucky to find one or two bottles of VG for sale on the shelf in our local chemists, they seem to like to ration it!

My local Boots has stopped stocking it. Not on shelves anymore. I'm not sure why, There are loads of Boots wherever you go so I have started to collect some. The  current sell by date on them seems to be 2017.Their value one is still £1.29. I bought 4 bottles in the last shop, they only had 1 bottle on the shelf so the shop assistant went and got 4 from the stockroom, so I asked for 3 more. I felt it was only right to leave her one to put on the shelf LOL.

Same deal from Superdrug, £1.29 for 200ml. Never been asked what I need it for, but if I am, will reply 'aromatherapy' or 'homemade hand lotion'.

My Wife was told the same at our local Boots a while back, but someone on here suggested (can't remember who) it would be back on the shelves come Winter.

Lol  . . . and odd, I don't pretend to understand the reasoning @zero. It seems very variable from branch to branch.

They've a more open mind than my local then Jane, as I always fib as to my intentions.
