Made my first box mod, it's a dual parallel unregulated mofset affair, for those that don't know a mofset allows you to use a regular low amp switch without burning it out. Anyway it's ugly as hell but hey, it works lol. I'm going to go order the parts for my next one, a slightly bigger box and a better battery sled. That will help make things a lot tidier. Cheers

igual the mofset acts like a relay more or less, it takes the amps so you can use a regular low amp switch, I think the one I used is rated to about 190amps. Yeh @zero it's a mech mod, basically having the two batteries in parallel halves the effort for each battery as well as battery sag etc, they also last longer on a charge. Simple schematic for anyone needing it. And a good place for parts, between that and ebay there's everything you could need. www.modmaker.co.uk/Mod-Making-SuppliesNext is another parallel box with a slightly bigger box to make things a lot easier then maybe later I'll look at series for more oomph.

Very nice =) Then next up a box with a lipo battery in it for me? yes please!!! Hehe. More importantly, how does she vape? Bet it's quite refreshing to be using something you have made yourself?

Nice one enjay, I bet it looks better than you say it does and personally I would always put compact over pretty on my priorities. Now you have done one you can search for a Sunday best box and have this as an out and abouter.

Ohms law, use it to work out the amp draw with your usual coil and then add a few for error
As for this box it is good, but really is a bit small. I haven't got the lid on yet, still need to mod the lip lol. Anyway the next one will be perfect, only needs to be slightly bigger and it'll make all the difference.
As for the vape it's funny, it's like my usual builds feel the same regarding heat etc but it's like there's less fade as you inhale so you make a bigger cloud. You really notice the less battery sag.
