Got a couple of these the other day and am wondering if they are good to go straight from the packet? I've got a kanger aerotank, nautilus, mini nautilus and a mini protank to use them in - are they compatible with all of them? It also states on the instruction leaflet that I need to wet the wick, is this absolutely necessary? If so is it just a case of popping the chimney off and dropping a few drops of liquid onto the coil/wick?
Cheers

These are only compatible with kanger products as far as I am aware so will not work in nautilus

Cammy, jmw is right they only work in kanger tanks or tanks that take kanger heads. They are good to go straight from the packet and i never bother juicing up tge w8cks first just put it in and let it soak for a bit before you use it but if you do want to juice them up then yes just a few drops on the wick and you are good to go.

It's not really necessary to wet the wick first Cammy . . . providing you've left the heads for 20-30mins to absorb some eliquid. Which applies to the majority of coils, otherwise you'll get a burnt taste. They'll give your Mini Protank a whole new lease of life.

Shouldn't do Cammy if you're leaving the heads to soak for a while before using them and aren't using too high a setting for them.
Fingers crossed this is the answer for you though.

Also if you have burnt the juice in the tank it will keep tasting shite. And might need a re wick if cotton has gone rank.

My problem in the past with kanger coils for my mini protank and some evods is, although I leave them to soak for about 15 mins and start them off on a low wattage on my vamo or MVP, I generally find the watts need upped to get a decent throat hit. I will then gradually increase the watts until I am getting a decent draw from the coil. This generally will eventually end up with burning wicks after a two or three draws. Therefore forcing me to drop the wattage which in turn isn't enough oomph to hit the spot.. Some coils are ok in the evods but probably have this problem 90% of the time with the mini protank... I'll give the unicoil a blast in the mini protank and see how it goes.. What grommet should I use with it then?

The unicoil can take a lot of watts before it tastes burnt.

Wow, What can I say...
Finally got round to popping a unicoil on the mini protank and it's vaping like a train at 6watts. Magic. Good flavour and awesome throat hit even at such low power.
These coils rock..
Just need to now master rewicking them when the time comes.
