Hey guys!
So I've been looking through these forums regularly for past week learning lots about vaping, getting ready to buy my 1st ever vape and to give up the cigs.
But I have some doubts, I'm a long time asthma sufferer and for the past 2 years smoking cigs have begun to tightening my airways making it hard to breathe. Is their any other people here who suffer from asthma and have made the switch to vaping, noticed any improvements etc?

Yes i have Asthma OneZeroNyne as does my sister & we have both been lots better since stopping smoking i don't blow a much higher reading on the peak flow meter at Asthma appointments but my breathing is much better & i have only had 1 chest infection since May 2013 where as before stopping smoking i had 3 or 4 per year & once had to have 5 courses of antibiotics & 2 courses of steroids to clear my chest. Don't just take my word for it though there will be others along shortly that will tell you the same.

OneZeroNyne i don't use my blue inhaler now but i am still on the purple one (Seretide) x 2 puffs twice daily as a preventative & will carry on using it. Don't take my word for it though as everyone is different, ask your Asthma nurse before making any changes as it was my nurse that said i could stop using the blue one unless i got a chest infection.

I have had pretty bad asthma since childhood. Yes bloody stoopid I started smoking in the first place but heyho. I started vapeing nerely 7 months ago. First few days as my lungs started to adjust I was a little more tight chested but nothing to bad felt like when you get a chesty cold. Within 4 days it cleared and over a few months my breathing improved greatly. I was using 2 full blue inhalers in 10 days. Now I go through half that ( my right lung is half missing anyway dye to my accident). My peakflo reading has improved by 40%. I have noticed that higher pg juices make my chest a little tighter. I vape 50/50 and no problems .

Annecdotal of course but wife hardly uses her inhalers now. Before she switched to ecigs she was paranoid about letting her supply get too low, now she hardly thinks about them. Two health benefits in one.

Thank you so much for the info guys, it's helped a lot. Have decided to buy a evod starter kit at the end of the month. Can't wait to start xD ,any recommendations for a all day vape juice? Preferably tobacco.

What kit you thinking of getting? Have a look on the vendors page here. I'd suggest Vape escape, myepack, virtual vape for kit.

Good choice for a start. Have you also considered the emow kit? Juice strength wise will depend how many stinkies a day you smoke. 10- 15 I'd go for 18 mg 15+ 18 - 24 mg will also depend what type of cigs you smoke. Juice wise joosejuice is a good place to start, t juice offer some great vapes . If you want to try a lot of different flavours smoke rainbow do 1 mil samples of loads if different juices. Make sure to get a few different flavours as your taste buds will change fairly quickly once you start vapeing. I'd recommend not trying to emulate what your smoking as its virtually impossible to copy. Instead get a couple fruits a minty and a few dessert\drink types. This will give you a nice range to start with.

Nope haven't checked out the emow, any difference between the evod? The 1ml tasters sound great , do they have a website I could check out?
