Born again Vaper

I'm fairly new to this forum, and have learnt a shedload of stuff already.

My first experience with vaping was with a unknown brand ecig from the Co-op. Not a very good intro but it did the job at the time, but pretty much put me off ecigs for a long time until someone recommended Green Smoke as the best out there.

So I bought a Green Smoke starter kit and for a while it was ok but I eventually drifted back to the evil weed.

Then I came across a review forum of some sort and they highly recommended the Halo Tank One as the best E-go. Again I was happy with it for a while but it still didn't stop me smoking. I had a problem with the Halo and discovered this forum and on advice received from here I invested in an Aspire K1 and an EVOD Twist.

Wow!!! what a stunning difference. Like night and day. I'd finally found something I preferred to smoking.

Unfortunately I now have another addiction. In less than a month, as well as the Aspire/EVOD, I've accumulated an Itaste VTR with Kanger Aerotank, an Itaste MVP with Iclear 30 clearo and I've got a Smok SID on the way. The VTR has become my main Vape and the MVP is currently up for trade in the classifieds. I'm still chewing over trading it for a mechanical mod.

So I guess I've fallen victim of the dreaded shinyitis. I keep telling myself that that's it and I won't be buying any more stuff but there are so many tempting gadgets out there.

But for now I'm loving the VTR/Kanger combo and I'll keep the Aspire/Evod as a backup.

HaroldTheBarrel - hi and a warm welcome, again, to the forum! It certainly sounds as though you are contracting shinyitis, the dreaded affliction which has no known cure.

Just compare money spent on shinys compared to money saved not smoking, should put things into perspective

Exactly. I still have something to show for the money I've spent instead of sending it all up in smoke and slowly killing myself as well

Shinies are a wonderful thing! I'm into recoiling stuff but not in any big way. Got 600 precoiled wires but just ordered another 400 in case I run out this century! I tend to stock up to the extreme with this vaping lark! I think it goes with the territory
