This is a tricky one Anne, it's actually against Proboards TOS to block the ads - though I can't stop people using an ad blocker, I can't promote/encourage it either. If I did, Proboards could close the forum down. They have to get their money from somewhere for providing the service.

I thought most people used an add blocker nowadays Chrissie. I know I do. That probably explains why I never see adds on your site.

Thanks for the heads up leftfield. I've only just started trying out Chrome so added this as an extension and so far very effective. Previously I used the firefox options to disable tracking and pop ups which partly cured the problem but this looks much better.

That happened to me a couple of weeks ago too. I thought I'd been banned or something. It must be done randomly.
