Don't see much value in a P3 atty as any you get will be restricted to a P3 only, why not stick with 510 and retain the flexibility. Should you buy one and not like it the second hand audience will be greatly reduced. What's the point unless your a clumsy oaf

Whether the Kayfun comes with p3 only base, adapter or both bases. I'm definitely going to hold off getting another atty and make the decision when it gets here. It's going to be a bit shorter and a lot more stable connection. I wonder with a few attys going down this road whether other mods might also adapt the connection too maybe as an option like the p3 does. I get your point about flexibility Greg but if I have my favourite atty with my favourite mod. It not going to cause an issue for me. Will have to see how it plays out.

Leave something extra for new batteries. The P3 performs best on decent batteries (as I have found out to my cost!). I've got 4 vtc4s on rotation at the minute all about a month old. I'm semi-tempted to get some 18500s for the p3 if I do get it. Okay I bought 4 X vtc batteries to use in my P3 because my older AW IMR batteries were just about U/S.
They were okay at first but within a week or two I started getting problems with the P3. Scrolling gobblygook, the wattage suddenly changing to a high voltage and all sorts of weird changes.
I have now ordered new AW IMR batteries as these would appear to suit the P3 the best. Hopefully my P3 troubles are a thing of the past.

Whilst I hope this sorts your problems mate I don't see how a vtc Sony battery would do this. If it fixes it for you I know what to do if mine goes bad too. Gulp

The vtc batteries I got were not Sony ones. Indeed I have no idea whose they are because there is no markings on the casings what so ever, other than a dirty smudge mark that looks like a bar code and very faint writing says SE US18650UT C4.
Indeed I was surprised when I got them that they had no makers name on them.

I only use AW IMR's, great batteries for the P3 and the only ones Provape sell

Yes. I suspect that the whole of the P3 electronics were based on AW IMR battery output.
I have just received 4 new ones from Jason and they are on charge at the moment. They will be kept solely for use in the P3.
