Yes. I suspect that the whole of the P3 electronics were based on AW IMR battery output. I have just received 4 new ones from Jason and they are on charge at the moment. They will be kept solely for use in the P3. Did you buy the. New ones, noticed on the Vapeescape webby IT stated the new IMRs were a little longer than the old ones ?

Hi Greg, as far as I know they are "the new ones" and if there is any difference it is all of about half a mm. Anyways they fit the P3 just fine and I have one in at the moment.

My new AW IMR batteries are giving me 92% & 93% but they only last about 8 hours at the moment. Hopefully this will improve soon.

That's about what my older batteries are coming out at too My charger does a battery condition test and it shows that the older batteries are suffering in their internal resistance, it's nice that the P3 gives an instant rough idea of battery condition when it's freshly charged.

I have only just figured out where to find the IQ setting and I am surprised to find that some of my new AW IMR batteries are reading "poor" even when they just come off charge. I would hope that they improve in time.

I've been reading up on the IQ feature and there's a lot of posts about it being a bit temperamental and some have reported it increasing significantly just by rotating the spring in the base cap or stretching it slightly. I've just tried that with a 3 month old AW and the IQ went from 68% to 81%. I suspect that cleanliness and maintenance will also have a bearing on it. But, I can see the IQ being a bit of a pest if anyone has OCD

So the devices board is so clever it showed itself to be 13% under par...!
Might have to get one of these, see what all the fuss is about.

Lol, I don't know @letsavit - it goes a bit over my head to be honest. I'm getting good runtime and results regardless of the battery I use, so don't tend to get too involved with the IQ

IQ is temperamental and even instructions says so lol....mine flashed up 'return for repair' so I took the battery of (as said in the instructions) and voila 86%... I just now press and go. I can't see the battery use being an issue as I have no idea how many charges they have had....but they work the P3 works....very well, so I'm just going to use it....12 months warranty (never had an issue with any others).......now where are the P3 threaded tanks? I hope the KF has a new design
