Smell of Smoking

When out shopping in Town walking around (we) all smell other people smoking, 9 times out of 10 I think yuk that smells horrible ! But now and again I think that smells nice & feel I'm robbing myself of something
Do others ever feel this way ?


P.s I also see more people vaping too.

moblee - absolutely, most of the time I'm disgusted by the vile smell, and then I get a whiff of some freshly lit tobacco and think 'oh, now that smells nice, I remember that aroma', then feel almost guilty that I like the smell.
I try to focus on all the naff smells though, and the thought soon goes away as someone in front of me exhales a lungful of cheap tobacco smoke and my stomach turns again

moblee... I think it's the 'stale' smoke that irritates me, especially when someone who's had one recently is talking to me. Otherwise it doesn't really bother me... although I do like the smell of a pipe, but you don't come across that much now.

Same for me. It is really surprising how quickly the smell became absolutely foul.

Now Mrs Rughead is a smoker, so she dont get many kisses off me anymore

Next door smokes outside and it wafts in through my open windows. Sometimes i like, most times I don't. I definitely don't like the stale fag stinky breath when someone talks to me.

I used to avoid the smokers, thinking it would prove to be a weakness. But having done what I've done I'm happy to smell the fresh smoke, like it's a reminder of where I'm from. I do detest too much tho cos the smell sticks to my clothes and I take it home with me. I think the stale smell is the most disgusting thing and my main reason for quitting in the first place, other than my health.

To be fair, I was gong to get her one - she's made do with an 18350 Lavatube for the last 3 months, along with the attendant 4 battery changes per day! I'm not too despondent as I have another one on its way to me from China

I absolutely hate the smell of fag smoke, however I realise I smealt of this for 45 years! Oddly or not perhaps not my housemate who smokes really can't stand the smell of some of my liquids but can't smell her own fag smoke at all

Their is something lovely about some of the aromatic pipe tobacco's.
But as stated they are a rarity these days.
