Good for Nige.

As a long shot . . . maybe try mixing this new batch in ordinary plastic bottles @letsavit rather than the amber glass ones. In theory it shouldn't make any difference to Red Astaire which is good to use from the off as a rule, but you never know. It would cross another possibility off the list if nothing else.

Yep, so plastic bottles, new nic, PG/VG and of course new RA. Main thing for now is to get my ADV stocked up regardless.

Just shows how dim I am, I was not too happy with my last batch either and was reading your post, realised that I needed a new coil, back to normal Hope you get your next batch to work out

I made some of this 4 days ago as my first attempt at mixing. 60/40 18mg flavour at 10%,and it is just fantastic.

Right update.

New arrived today and I mixed 10ml as before, same PG/VG Amber bottles etc. Gave it 10seconds to steep and tried it and it's fine.

Girlfriend and friend tried the old in the week against pre mixed, their taste buds are not as shot as mine from smoking! Both said it was missing the coolness/menthol and tasted stronger on the berry, my girlfriend actually quite liked it, I dont hence another email to t juice and my new arrived today. I have also sent a sample of old back to T-juice, I will try the old again in a week just to see if I have the first RA iv ever read about needing steeping.

Hope T juice don't think I'm trying it on as this is not the case, hence the above I needed other opinions. 25years of smoking, my taste buds being shot and being my first mix really through me but as RA is my ADV and my only vape I could tell it tasted difference straight away.

Would like to add I have mixed vamp vape and jack the ripple for my girlfriend and they are perfectly fine, just not RA so I don't like them...!

That's good news though right?  Because it means that the first bottle was off in some way and you can happily mix your ADV now

That's good news though right?  Because it means that the first bottle was off in some way and you can happily mix your ADV now

Great news mate  but still nervous to do a big amount like last time so 50ml bottle tomorrow..!

just taste a drop of the neat concentrate so you can test new bottles when you order them.  Should give you a little more confidence in the future

The back of the hand test! Mandatory! If it don't pass that it doesn't get mixed! In fairness though I mix in bulk and so infrequently I doubt I could remember from one concentrate to the next if it's good or not.

Never had a bad bottle of RA though, and I've mixed loads of it. Great to hear that they replaced it for you no hassle.

Right I'm eating humble pie and said sorry to Nigel at T-juice

The old juice after a week of steeping and at 6 watts tastes perfect, so for me for some reason steeping is necessary for Red Astair. The berries have sweetened and the cool menthol has come through. T juices patience, mostly Nigel, has been greatly apppriacted while I'm on this learning curve of mixing.

I now have plenty of RA to vape in the coming weeks. Yay.......

Somedays my RA tastes of nowt.

Still never needed a steep though.

you never know maybe its different for you with each to his own regarding taste...

important thing is that you're sorted

I mix mine 50/50 and 25% vape strait away and tastes lush.
