I'm trying to find somewhere that sells the old fashioned 'terry nappies'

We use them in the cattery for drying the lodges after disinfecting, finally after about 30 years our current stock is getting a little threadbare

Does anyone on here know of anywhere that still sells these things (at a reasonable price)? or does anyone still have a stock of old/used ones that could give us some service

You may laugh BrenD but Ali was my 2nd search (the first being FT), those ones are only inserts mate, they'd last 5 minutes, checking Ebay now lairey

Q! have you thought of trying something like these, link You can get them in bigger sizes link  it all depends how your budget is, I use them for everything from polishing or drying the boat and car, just mopping up spills general cleaning, cleaning glass and just about everything else you can think of, they last for ages, easy to wash just don't use any fabric softener, most discount stores do them I pay £3.99 for 10 at mine,

Nice find mowjo I've been thinking of microfibre, and checking AliExpress, its hard to find the size we need, those small ones would be perfect if they were just a little bit bigger, the price is perfect

Alternatively, trawl a few charity shops for towels and cut them up? They make excellent cleaning, polishing, drying cloths. Or put a shout out on your local freecycle group? I have to agree though, terry nappies are fantastic cleaning cloths
I use micro fibre cloths for cleaning but for drying/polishing can't beat towelling, especially old, well washed towelling

Charity shops... Befriend... Explain you at looking for tatty old towels and ask if they can keep them back from the ragging service for a donation. Independents probably will
