Anybody?
I'm not keen on the whistle tips that come with theBud, so I'm looking for something more ergonomic.
306 drip tips look like they might, just wondering if anyone who posses both could test this out. Failiing that, any other ideas would be welcome.

a 306 drip tip is just a tad too small... you can force it over but it stretches and would break. i tried a tip from a echomiser and that fits which i believe is a 801 801 tip you could always PM Jason and get him to compare inner diameters of the 801 to the echo tip?

They do push on up to a point Dom, but not far enough on to create a seal, it's far too airy a draw

Also tried a 306 adapter thingy which lets you use a normal driptip, works slightly better, but adds too much length...

Tx again Gordy and Lilac - I may have to look into the echomiser tip then.

Well, I looked at an Echomiser tip online, and thought it might look a bit clunky.
So in a fit of largesse, I ordered a 306 drip tip, and found that indeed it doesn't quit fit over the gap above the air tube, but I slid a sawn off condom over the tip and tank to provide a seal. Even then, the 306 tip is just too slender to seal with the condom. I remedied this by wrapping a few turns of sellotape around the drip tip body, and hey presto - a good seal, and quite a nice draw!
It's a bit Heath Robinson, but proves the concept.
On VTTV last night RawVeg was playing around with drip shields, which got me thinking...

What I did was saw the whistle tip section of and filed down the edges, then I cut a section of an expired dual coil carto and forced it over the filed down top of the bud, held firm with a dab of super glue Left for a day to fully set and popped a drip tip on. Worked a treat, Pity the bud couldn't wick my cocomel fast enough at 4,4v to be of any real use

Yeah, I was thinking of cannibalising one of my micormisers - the tube has quite a narrow internal diameter, so might just fit snugly (though it wont look too pretty).
Once I learned to line up the (one) airhole with the cutout in the battery connector, I was able to vape 60/40 VG/PG juice without any dry hits - so long as I didn't toke too hard.

Looks rather natty with a clear drip tip in it, and vapes well.

Blakey - gotcha. Jemima - no, but I'm from the time when it was Blue Peter. I like taking things to bits, so end up having to fix them once I've broken whatever it was
