Hi People
As the title says I have a so called RY4 that is completely tasteless and bland, 80ml of the stuff! ( Lesson never order online after a few glasses of wine) What I would like to know is can I get some concentrators and add to small 10ml to change them and would this work? Was thinking of red astaire, BYO Nutzilla & nutzilla. If this would work how much concentrator do I put in? 9.5ml bland then add 0.5 to bring up to 10ml?

I do t know that red astaire would go with RY4 as it is kind of an individual taste. You could put 10% to totally overpower the dodgy juice.
5% of a nutty concentrate would probably work better. You can always add more if needed.

Or even some Caramel which works really well I think with RY4 . . . if it really is that tasteless, I'd probably add 1ml of extra flavour. Whose RY4 is it? Just thinking on, that there could be a concentrate available to top up the basic flavour firewall.

Sorry jmw2309 and Perpetua I thought I had already replied. Thanks for your help. I in case you don't already know do not have a clue about mixing. I thought the red astaire would have worked by introducing different flavours but I have never tried it. I have tried RY4 Nutzilla which was great. So if I get Nutzilla is it 5% which would be 0.5ml or is it 10% 1ml I add? I suppose try 5% and suck it and see. Does anyone know if this will have to be left for a while before trying or is it good to go ? The RY4 in question is by Mist, bought online after one or two glasses of wine, seemed such a great idea at the time!

It may be that the juice needs to steep some... Give it a couple of weeks, perhaps? Looking around on the interweb I see 10ml bottles of Diamond Mist available for between £2 (a company called 7dayshop) and £3... I'm guessing you spent about £20 in total.... These look like they're in cardboard boxes so steeping is probably not an issue (they were probably bottled in some far away place many months ago). Let's say 10ml in a shop would be around £4 so 80ml would be, say, £35... To rescue (if I wanted to) I'd be inclined to dump the whole lot into a 100ml brown bottle and buy 10ml of either Flavour Art's RY4 Nutzilla or BYO Nutzilla concentrate... You'll probably pay about a fiver including postage I think I'd then be adding at roughly a tenth of the bottle of concentrate at a time, leaving say five days before testing each time until I've got it right... Remember that you'll slowly reducing the nicotine concentration. Or I'd drop perhaps a third of the bottle of concentrate (~3ml) and just see what happens..... But if it was like £2 / 10ml in individual bottles type cheap and it was such an insipid flavour I think alarm bells would be ringing too loud and I'd bin it... I'd then commiserate my grape inspired foolishness with just enough good single malt to realise what a fantastic bargain 100ml of one of SteamGunk's (chefsvapour these days) finest RY4 Raven is at £36, spot how many other nice sounding liquids there are , end up ordering four other 100ml bottles and have some serious explaining and more than a little panic budgeting / cc juggling to do in the morning... And still need to let them steep (but I'd be a happy bunny)

A great post tomj777 - you sound like a man after my own heart! Grape or malt-induced purchasing is always dangerous, as is borne out by my ever-expanding collection of vapegear

Thank you tomj777 great reply, you're right it was £20 for 100ml.( bargain I thought) I bought it about 6-7 weeks ago. Thank you for the link, lets see if I can pump some life into this tasteless liquid.

You're welcome. Report back. Whilst you're at it, get a rudimentary mixing kit from, say, www.leisureliquids.com/eliquid-mixing-kits/regular-eliquid-mixing-kit-72mg for £17 (+p&p) along with a concentrate like the one in my link (you're up to around £22 now, I guess). Then invest time reading around the mixing section of the forum and, oh yes, ask lots of questions... You'll get the hang of it fairly quickly and before you know it you'll have a few litres of Nic base in the freezer (keep it labeled and childproof) and the cheapest eliquid you can get whilst knowing exactly what's going into it....
