I have a whole butcherd Bambie in the freezer that I shot earlier this year.
I know that the venison I have is organic, healthy and lived a good life till it got in the crosshairs.
My dad is a qualified deerstalker. And regularly takes peeps out for the day.
All the kids in our family have been bought up to know that meat comes from living creatures not just VAC packed at local supermarket.
My stepson Connor has learned since age of 6 how to feed himself from the land hunt fish etc.
He's capable of humainly dispatching a bunny with a rifle, skinning drawing and cooking it.
Likewise with a fish,crab squid.
He is currently learning about mushrooms and which ones to eat and which will kill you.
It frightens me so many kids/teens have know understanding of the food chain or how to even cook.
