Best of luck with the move OneDayHow's your move going DiscoDes ? Stressful time, i'm still recovering from my move in May! Well, it's a week today that I move, it's been a nightmare, 2 sales, one household going into storage, we had 2 of everything so sorting out what we'd keep or sell or give to charity or throw away! Kathy moved in with me for 4 weeks (not a nightmare!), going through all my Mum's stuff that was put in my loft after she passed away, sorting and packing up all the crud from 20 years in one house, going through photos and ditching all the one's with my ex  This weekend is clearing and sorting the garage, plus this office where I work. BUT This is where I'm going to:  4 storey town house, 2 bathrooms (one a spa bath!), proper office, walk in wardrobe for Kathy, some good entertaining space.. (maybe a mini meet place?) etc... And this is the view from the back....   The view is the Bristol channel, on the left you can see Somerset and the North Devon coast. Opposite you can see from Magor to Cardiff in Wales. Also it's within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, Pubs/bars and of course the seafront etc....  I have Virgin Media coming in on the day after we move so hopefull will only be offline for 24 hours and I still have my mobile which I can use as a wi-fi hot spot. |

Des that looks stunning. It will be so worth all the hard work x Well it's mine & Kathy's "Dream House" and in a fabulous location luckily we were able to get it as we had 2 houses to sell. I'm really looking forward to getting in there. Not looking forward to 4 floors though! The moment for me will be getting up on Saturday morning and looking out of the window with that view. |
