Kayfun V4 reviews. Todd`s and others.

28 AWG 7wraps at 3mm for 1.4ohms. If you want to draw more juice through tighten up the draw a little which will help with wicking. I did see a couple of peoples builds that did not compress their coils they just left spaces and said it helped to increase flavour.

Hi Peeps, My Kayfun V4 arrived from Fasttech this morning, don`t know the manufacturer, but they have done a `stella` job in a 1.1 copy.
I have 5 Kayfuns, 3 originals and now 2 clones, once I got my head around the JFC set up, it`s a doddle to set up.
IMPORTANT: Strip down and clean it, some traces of oil found.
Made a simple 5 wraps of 28swg A1 kanthal onto 3mm silica doubled wick.
Made sure that wicks were over the 4 juice holes and vaped.
Yes other have also stated, you do seem to get "MORE" flavour production.
Biggest benefit is being able to `top` fill tank with JFC in the "CLOSED" position. Once filled "OPEN" the JFC.
Peeps you won`t be disappointed with this model.

I got a couple from FT, one was fine but gunked with machine oil but the other had no or very little threading in the positive connector block so the screws were just a push fit rendering it useless
Replaced it with a very good clone from vapegeek

blakey was the the hcigar version? I got one from ft arrived about a week ago (the first one that was listed), brilliant vape, never a dry hit and increased flavour BUT... it wee's out of the airholes and now I've gone and made the ring seize

It leaks from the air holes due to either not enough cotton/wick
or there is an o-ring somewhere in there that isn't sealing so you're losing pressure.
To unstick that base you need to find a small metal rod that fits into one of the air holes and then using a rubber grip just unscrew it
And yes, mine was from the very first batch that was listed

Some of you have bought two clones already and had issues you would be better just not buying a few clones and buy the authentic.

macmagoo I like a lot of other vapers, have a limited budget to buy gear, so we buy a clone and if we like it,we can then save up to get an original.
The clone is then used out & about,where the expensive original is kept in for home use only.
The clone also allows use to try new designs and methods of vaping.
The important bit is that we vape SAFELY, hence the valuable information given by this forums members to each other.

I have a limited budget just like anyone else. I have in the past had a lot of clones bought after reading about them on various forums saying how good they were, unfortunately when it comes to people reviewing their clones they seem to do it with rose tinted spectacles and they don't compare it to the original.

The point I was trying to make was someone on here and on a few of the other forums have bought two or three different clones because of issues. If you buy two or three clones then that is probably around about 60-70% of the cost of the authentic, false economy.

That`s why it`s important to have truthful reviews of clones, luckily on this forum we do get them.

Only consolation we have, is that the quality of clones is very much improved these days,and in a very few cases better than the original. (now I have my hard hat on,lol)
