Anyone else unimpressed?

I know it will sell well but there are also a lot of Kayfun users who won't be buying one.

I mean, how exactly is it innovative to have to remove bits to adjust the airflow?

They've massively over engineered it to slow the cloners down and they've lost touch of what's important

My current impressions are similar to yours Dan.

I can't help but think that the over-engineering has to be to hold off the clones.

Closing off the juice flow so you can top fill is nice, but you could do this before by just putting your finger on the air hole.

If it vapes great then all it has really accomplished is a better variety of airflow options, albeit through a strange way of adjusting it. I don't think the fact you do it that way is a massive problem unless you're one who like to change up your airflow a lot.

The straight connections to devices is pretty cool. It will be nice to have a straight connection to the p3 but it will be such a long combo anyway you aren't really gaining that much.

Im a big kayfun fan and i do want one.

I won't be in a rush to grab one though

I can't help but think that the over-engineering has to be to hold off the clones.

Closing off the juice flow so you can top fill is nice, but you could do this before by just putting your finger on the air hole.

Mark seemed to be underwhelmed by the vape to be fair. How many times did he say that it vapes like a kayfun?

He obviously doesn't rate it as an honest upgrade over the previous generation.

I was constantly messing with the airflow with my 3.1s and i honestly thought they'd follow the trend of an exterior ring.. simple on the go adjustment. Heck they could have integrated it with the juice control.

In my eyes they're playing catchup, much like Provape did with the Provari.

Squape was replaced by the Reloaded, Eden released the V2. Both new editions made improvements on the usability and overall vape.

The only thing the V4 has improved on is the ease of filling..

They've been very clever though, with the v4 not being compatible with current accessories. Who's going to bet against a nano tank and chimney being the best part of £50?!

They said the Rose was un-cloneable.. Won't be long until China get their claws into the new design.. you never know, they may even figure out a way of sorting the airflow lol

The only thing I like about it is the ability to top fill, and the innovative juice flow system but as Dan says having to remove the 510 screw to get to the airflow screw to make adjustments is just stupid, an AFC should be accessible without having to take the atty off the mod, this is the same complaint that people have about the Erlkoenigin, and is also just as bad with the SquapeR but at least with the latter you only have to loosen it from the mod, there has also been talk of it costing $200 (c£130) so a lot of normal people will just not bother.

Generally I think the days of £100 atties have had their day regardless of whether you can afford them or not.

It will not outperform my Roses just as the current kayfuns don't and it will not outperform my squapes.
I do actually think it looks quite nice though- subjective I know
If they clone it then I may give it a go but for once I'm gonna sit back and let everyone else fill their boots.

Must say, I'm a big Kayfun lover, but the more I see of this V4, the less I'm impressed.........& for that reason..............................I'm out..................................................for now....
