I'm really considering getting a genuine Kayfun 4, would you guys who bought one say it's worth the price tag. I do love Kayfuns, but I'm unsure if the new one will be much better than the Lite Plus. For me it's head and shoulders above it. It's a little bit better in lots of ways and for me that adds up to a lot. The flavour is definitely a little better, the increased airflow is better, top fill is a dream and there is zero airflow noise or whistle, it's super super quiet. The juice shut off is great too, no worries of any kind of leaks when chucking ur mod in a pocket or bag, especially useful for flights. And being able to whip the build deck out, change the wick (without even unscrewing the chimney section) is awesome. Wick out, dry burn, wick in, in about 30 seconds. For me it's the best atty ive ever owned. I loved kayfun lites but this atty is another level. Hope that helps!

I just didn't want to pay so much money for something for it to be just the same as what I already have. Think I'll treat my self and get it, I'm also thinking about getting a new mod to put it on. So many out there it's hard to choose, was thinking either a Semovar, Provari 3 or Vaporshark rDNA 40. I'm so indecisive, but I want to be sure before spending so much money.

I haven't vaped a Kayfun lite or any clone of it, but have owned a V2.1ES and still have a V3.1ES and I agree with Tom regarding the improvements in the design. If the only change from the 3.1 was being able to rebuild without draining it would have been worth it to me. All the other changes and a very slightly better flavour from the vape is the icing on the cake. As you say "I do love kayfuns" I don't think you'll be disappointed iLardyboy

I emailed Cloud 9 today, they won't have them back in stock until after Christmas. So I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer.

So I managed to get a Kayfun 4 from the classies thanks to macmagoo. I've also ordered a P3, will get the connector when they're back in stock. However, I won't be opening them until Christmas Day. I'm gonna feel like a kid again, thanks Santa!!

I've been playing with my Kayfun 4 for the past 3 days, and I just can't get a good vape from it at all. Barely any flavour, dry hits, wicking issues, you name it. I've tried different builds, different wicking material and different wire and no joy.
Any advice from those who have one would be greatly appreciated.

The wicking setup took me a little while to get it right, there are two ways I did it. I would take my KGD down to the deck and cut in line with the bottom of the deck but don't block the holes. The second method I used was to put the coil on at an angle and have the wick in an L shape with the cotton over the first hole and lying along the deck and stopping just short of the other hole.

What build did you use on it mate, coil size and ohms?
