I have now been using my Riva since Tuesday teatime and have honestly not wanted an analogue cig. I have thought about them, ( I still have some in my handbag and a couple of spare packs too) and keep looking for an ashtray but don't want one - it's very strange. I know it's still very early days but I am amazed.
The even better bit is my middle son has bought one (who doesn't live with me but knows if I managed this it must be good - he will get his tomorrow from the P.O.) ), my boss wants me to order one for her and my 84 year old Mum! Those last 2 have tried mine and were staggered. I am still going outside with the smokers for a break and using my Riva instead.
With Mum, cos of her age and general frailty, I have asked her to just use the ecig maybe half and half to start- after a lifetime of smoking, I worry about the shock to her system of withdrawal from analogues. Have explained to everyone to have a normal ciggy if they feel like it.
With Mum, I am going to fill a load of labelled and numbered cartomisers for her so she can swap them as needed and I can top them up for her.
I am using Cocomel most of the time and that's the one the others tried and like. I didn't like it at first but that was with the atomiser and cartridge - no matter how much I tried, I could not get rid of a strange taste (maybe the primer stuff but it never went away for me) - I much prefer the cartomisers.
Our Market Hall is being done up - quite fancy taking a stall and starting to sell!
Thanks everyone for the great advice here.
Ali x

Congrats It is strange how easily you can switch to ecigs from the real thing. After being tied to them for years it's like a breath of fresh air, literally Hope you keep up with it and it's cool to see you're getting others interested. It might be an age thing for me but so far it's been really difficult getting anyone to even take the slightest interest in my ecigs

and to your Mum as well Ali. 84 and no problems with smoking. Excellent. My Nan smoked all her adult life and lived well into her 90's. Luck of the draw I suppose.

So pleased to hear your vaping is going so well the ashtray thing- I to, looked for it but not because I wanted a real fag but out of habit. Getting others onto vaping is excellent news, well done I think its a very great attitude your mother has most older people are very stuck in their ways, so a big well done to her. A potential new vendor woohoo thats great news

Jason I'll be sending in a large order over the weekend - 2 more kits to buy, plus extras (and a little bit for me..) It's ok, I'll take commission in juice....!
And I have put link for here on my Facebook for all my mates (and their families) who are showing an interest. They seem to think I am the fount of all knowledge now - little do they know!

Well done Ali - we've all experienced pretty much the same effect, thankfully! I also get lots of interest from work - fact is, I point them here for info, and at Jason for the rest (until they know better themselves of course!). I must talk to at least one person per week about it now - it's all good.

It must be because you don't often see them do you? Or as I said to someone at work, we may have done, but I would have presumed they were smoking if I didn't see the e-cig.
So when we turn up with our new found gadget, they are fascinated. And rightly so.
