Ok, so far I tend to stick with PTs as I can recoil the heads, even the aerotank and mini 3, and I sort of know where I am with them. But I keep seeing lots of lovely looking tanks on people's photos and have absolutely no idea what they are, what they do, how they do what they do or even if I could make them do what they do........confused? Not half as much as I am. I mostly use my VTR but also have a couple of isticks, an mvp, spinner (almost redundant but kept just in case) have looked at at the aspire nautilus (mini to fit vtr) but doubt I could recoil that, and after that I've no idea what might work for me? I'd also really like to get something from a UK vendor, VE Jason perhaps then I could enter the lurverrrly comp as well, but doesn't have to be, just thought I'd tag as you might have some good suggestions? all and any help gratefully received and as always thank you peeps

If you can. Recoil protanks then something like a kayfun would be a doddle. Only ones I can see on Jason's sight are drippers or mesh wick tanks ( I might be wrong) He does have aerotanks which are basically same way as protanks.
The kayfun lite v2 from mvapes are nicely made and easy to work on. Another option is the rose. Lovely rba. Have heard good things about the orchid but don't own one.

If you can coil a protank, you can coil most things - especially single coil tanks, but the principle is the same with multiple coils. You don't have to stick to clearomisers, maybe it's time to have a look at rebuildables.
Why not post some pics of what you like the look of, and we can direct you from there?

I was discussing this only this morning with a fellow vaper. If you can fiddle successfully with a Protank head, then something like the Taifun GT or a Kayfun Lite/Russian would be an absolute doddle. There is much more room to work, and they are a superb vape once you have climbed the gentle learning curve. The other advantage of course is that many of us use (or have used) them, and can help you overcome any teething troubles you may have.

Until you decide what to grab If you're running the protanks with aerotank v1 bases I've just drilled the holes out to 1.5 mm and it's made a big difference as it was a tight draw even with them fully open. Think using rda's then going back to aerotanks and pt2s has ruined me. Much better with them drilled a bit and they can still wick perfectly fine. Plus it costs nowt which is always a bonus no use going overboard with the hole sizes as the bottom of the coils obviously still restricts the draw but it's worth a shot and you can still close the holes back off if you don't like the draw.
