Hi, I recently received my new Kanger Tech Evod in the post. I much prefer it to the SkyCig I was originally using! I was thinking of buying a couple of tanks and was wondering if it's okay to fill them with e-liquid and use them as and when I fancy a different flavour, rather than using the same tank and waiting for the liquid to run out before changing the flavour. Is it okay to store the e-liquid in the tanks?
I was also wondering if the Evod 2 tanks would fit the Evod? The Evod (the one I have) has plastic tanks where-as the Evod 2 has glass tanks.
Should I wash the mouth piece in plain water or can I use washing up liquid or liquid soap?
Finally, what are the coils for? I received 5 spairs with my Evod and don't really understand what they're for and how often to change them.

snakeeyes1964 - glad you are happy with your Evod kit, they are great little atomisers. Yes you can buy other Evods, including Evod 2s with the glass tanks, and they will fit your batteries; it's perfectly OK to store liquid in them and swop them over when your tastebuds want a change. After a few tanks of juice, it might be worth waiting until the level drops right away, and then disassemble the atomiser and rinse it in warm clean water (no soap, it will taint the juice when you fill up again!). Unscrew the base from the tank section, and then unscrew the knurled part of the base. It should come away as a small unit with a silicone grommet in the centre - this is the coil, and should resemble the spare you have in the box! Rinse both of these along with the tank, flush through with warm water, and then either leave to dry or pat dry carefully with some kitchen towel. Reassemble and refill, making sure that you have screwed the coil back firmly into the base before refilling, one of the most common causes of leaking. Enjoy, and ask away if any of this is unclear!

snakeeyes1964+1 for the above advice but if you take the tanks to bits for cleaning, watch out for errant 'o' rings and don't flush them down the sink. There is normally 1 at the top and 1 and the bottom of the glass tank section.

charliehorse - good point there, I knew that I would forget to mention something!! I always wash and then rinse into a washing up bowl just to be on the safe side

Hi All
Just done this and have lost 2 of the thin washers-O rings, I didn't even know they were there until someone told me at the vape shop I use. Does anyone know of a good supplier for these, also lost one for my miniprotank 3, my vape store doesnt stock them Nearly 6 months of the stinkies now still going strong.

Welcome I'm glad you prefer it to Skycig. It's great that a vaping company will now get your money, not a tobacco one.

This might be what you want for the mini but I would double check first
redjuice.co.uk/parts-and-accessories/tank-parts/kanger-o-ring-set-for-protank-mini-aerotank-mini-genitank-mini.html
There have been links posted before for o ring suppliers on ebay but I cant seem to find them at the moment. Maybe start a new thread and you will probably get a better response ?

I've just had a search on youtube snakeeyes1964 as there's always a video to suit a query on there! This video gives a good breakdown, and gets you more familiar with the workings of your tank - hope it helps :DBefore you know it we'll have you rebuilding your own coils
