Our .com ladies are starting work from 4am as of today through to Christmas Eve picking orders for Collection & Delivery, other Staff are working through the night to try and keep the parsnips etc stocked up.

I finish work at 10.30pm on the 23rd . . . then am due in again at 6am Christmas Eve.

Frozen veggies, not really, I am doing shredded cabbage and sprouts with pancetta and chestnuts so not really feasible. Also doing maple roots, which is carrots, parsnips and shallots basted with maple syrup and roasted, again not really suitable for using frozen. I do have aunt bessies roaties in duck? fat though.

Haha bonnieboy I did have a fright with the freezers today, chest freezer full to the brim with human food, under counter full to the brim with human food, full height larder full to the brim with dog food. No nic base in sight but I do buy stuff a lot on offer and apart from veg and cheese we eat very little from the fridge / fresh

All the xmas food is being taken care of by the wife, and I can assure you all, we won't starve!

Now onto the real ale..... Tring brewery in Hertfordshire have received my order which I will be collecting in the next 2 days.

Anyone who likes their ale, and is prepared to drive to the brewery, you won't be disappointed. Moongazing is one of Tring's to die for ale's in my opinion. You really will want to eat this ale it is that malty and hoppy.

I have also gone with, robin red breast, Santa's little helper and ridgeway bitter.

If you don't want to drink it, add it to the gravy, best ale for miles.

Oh and Friday will be a massive hangover.
