I ran out of pg and went to order more but like an idiot I wasn't paying enough attention to what I was doing and ordered vg. The pg was to make juice for a friend who uses clearo's, I know going high vg will make it hard for the clearo to wick, would this still be the same if I used thinned VG?
If the thinned VG would be ok, what do I use to thin it, I seem to remember distilled water? If that's correct what ratio do I use and can I get the distilled water from a chemist?

You can also use vodka, 20% water or vodka is the norm

Hi nehctik , yes you can get 'purified water' cheaply from a chemist, although they might have to order it in for you. Dilution of VG helps with wicking, mixing and handling. We have our VG diluted with 15% purified water BP As Greg says vodka can also be used and this reportedly increases the throat hit. Note that high VG mixes mutes the flavours a bit.

With Purified water solution as well here. I've tested recently and the vapor is far more smoother than vodka.

Are you using a PG Nic Base nehctik? If so the runniness of that will compensate and you shouldn't need to dilute plain VG . . . or hardly at all. I only use VG heavy home mix, VG Base/Plain VG . . . so the only PG element is in my flavours, no problems with wicking in anything I use.

As Perpetua says.... If your flavourings are PG, or/and Nic is PG, I doubt you need to thin it. However, we have Purified Water in stock if you really need it. If you decide you really need to thin it down I would always suggest Pure Lab Water (as above) over Distilled / Deionised / etc. Happy New Year - Kev

nehctikAs above has said I used to use Vodka, but found no difference with pharma grade distilled. You have to guess a little on dilution but I ended up at 10% worked for me in cartos that had heavy vg content. If your in East London can let you have some for free, I have enough in freezer for vaping, my steam iron and WW3 lol. (and cost me a fiver lol, they would not sell me less) MP
