I always know where my filler is but I'll just go to whatever pump is free, unless it's some really ancient old hillbilly affair the pump hose is on a retractable reel and can stretch all round the car.
I love pulling into a free bay and pulling the pump hose round to the other side when there's people waiting in a queue because they don't realise you can do that lol
