I got 1, Bob got 1 & blakey got 2 from Puff Place when they first went up, the 1 mm is not good, not tried the 1.5 or 2 mm, but 2.5 and 3 mm work well.

Yep, can vouch for the 1.5 being not so good but the 2mm works a charm with the screw moved closer to the center and .3 kanthal used

It probably just needs a larger screw head so the gap between the screw head and the rod is a lot smaller or a bit of Polymorph on the screw head may work.

My set of three finally arrived from FT yesterday! (just under three weeks, so not too bad I suppose )

I've had a few goes and I must say I'm very pleased with them. I made a couple of coils on the 2.5mm Kuro and they came out very nicely - one with .3mm and one with .35mm Kanthal.

At least I have had plenty of time to read about them and followed the rule of applying no pressure and just turning - worked a treat I can retire my ultra cheapy set of drill bits now!

I did pay about a £ extra for Singapore post which maybe the reason it is a bit quicker - it was shipped on the 21st Jan.

I've had 3 different orders arrive all ordered after i ordered the Kuro coilers and the Coilmaster sets.
I even got an email from FT saying the coilmasters weren't in stock and there was a delay at the manufacturer so they were sending the Kuro's in one shipment and the coilmasters in another.
Still waiting on both packages.

Just tried mine and with 0.3mm Kanthal and above its an absolute doddle to get perfect coils, in fact you could probably do it with your eyes shut.

0.25 however is more of a challenge with overwraps galore. However with a little care and concentration it doesn't take long at all to perfect at 0.25. The key is a light touch on the rotating end cap

Got mine yesterday shipped 24th jan with sing post. Spent half an hour buggering things up then looked at youtube vid and producing good coils now

Yeah seems to work fine for me here's the first tester coil i made, 28awg Kanthal on the 2.5mm Kuro tool.
