My 3rd istick has become problematic so if anyone can help please I would be sooooo grateful. It just is not registering the ohms anymore and says atomiser short if I try to take a puff on it, I've tried all different atomisers with no success but all my atomisers still work properly on my other 2 isticks. Don't know what to do with it to get it to work

Toots the istick is known for connecting problems. One suggestion is to gently lift the 510, do not be heavy handed, just a gentle lift not that much different from lifting as ego battey pin and see if that works.
As a longer term fix, you may need the adapter to preserve the threads as well as have less cobnection problems. I think vapeescape stock them
Hope ive helped

toots I would suggest that you prise up the 510 centre pin on the istick, using small flat end screwdriver it seems that centre pin is to low down in the mod, to make contact with the atty`s pin.. Then very slowly screw on one of the atty`s, and at each turn press the fire button, until the mod fires. This will then reset the position of the centre pin. This is how I overcame the same problem. Try it, good luck.

Hubby came in a few mins ago, had the top of the istick apart and found that the existing mastic had dropped down pulling the pin down with it, so he's put some more mastic in so that it's raised the pin up again. He says it won't fall down again ever now However apparently I'll never be able to get the top off again Thanks jeffc & Mrsmac for your suggestions though, and if it happens again to yours then you might consider opening up yours and putting some mastic in it - my hubby (being a builder) swears by mastic for almost everything

Thats good awnser, i'd have used araldite, but for anyone else getting this problem, I get it regular with carto tanks, just check carto sitting low enough in tank, seems a fraction of a mm can make the difference, definatly little fussy sods on connection.
If that fails use my other repair method (disclaimer might damage mod dont blame me), stick big screwdriver down connector, bash mod against desk 8 or 9 times, use every bad word you know, then throw away and buy another, this method works for me mostly late at night.

From day one I was using the adaptor on my eleaf, then in the past 2 weeks I started getting this rubbish about the atomiser. I saw a suggestion to use the silicon rings that came with the aerotank and try and place it under the pin to lift it, but it didnt fit properly. Ive now taken to screwing in and firing at each turn as Jeffc suggested, pretty pathetic though. A few months old, had problems with over powering and now this, despite never removing the adaptor since first use. Ive now got a very, very wobbly tank sitting in it and its fast becoming useless, real shame as the size/shape in my hand was perfect. Wont be buying Istick stuff again,

I'd second the istick 30w ive had mine since they came out and change attys throughout the day with absolutely no problems whatsoever. I must screw and unscrew about 6 times a day and it's never failed

#Just to say I found this thread searching for "eleaf atomiser" or "istick atomiser" not sure which one, but after posting I found another thread in the search list suggesting to put the silicon ring on the 510 thread at the base f the Aerotank. This has resulted in a reasonanly solid structure. By that I mean no more wobbles, but still the odd Atomiser short message and its still reding the 1.8 ohms as 1.9ohms. But still an improvemnt. Meant to comeback, but was watching footy on laptop and everything was going so slow -need to get a new pc

tbh I find all coils read a negligible difference between batteries a 1.8 can read as a 2 sometimes if the airflow chamber on the nautilus is damp it affects the ohm reading

All 3 im my household were knackered showing atty short even with no atty fitted !
How long they will last I don't know, took a few pics on how to take it apart and fix in a fashion.
Any interest in a little fix guide ?
