Got mine too, in a nice shade of blue. Seems a dinky little thing.

Well, I don't know who else has received their FT cloned Kuro Koilers and the Coil Master, but my FT ones arrived today, and although the Coil Master gives more options 1mm & 1.5mm, I really think that these FT ones are better, much more solid feel, they are slightly heavier and a bigger diameter, but they feel a lot better in your hand, and although you have to get all 3 for 2mm, 2.5mm and 3mm, there is no messing about changing over the pins and coil end, I will still keep the Coil Master as a back up, but will mainly be using the FT Kuro clones.
Just my two penceworth

[This post is about the Coil Master not the Kuro] On this thread I found that for 1 & 1.5 mm diameter coils replacing the provided screws with "socket head M2 x 3 mm screws" 99p for 5 here helps a lot. I managed to make OK 1 & 1.5 mm coils with 0.32 mm Kanthal & 0.21 mm Nichrome by fitting larger head M2 socket head screws (the heads are 3.7 mm diameter). The 1 mm is still tricky especially with the thinner wire & you need to do about a wrap and a half first to get it to catch properly. It's diameter of the coil rather than the diameter of the wire that is the main problem, although thinner wire is harder to do. If you line up the heads with the rods in then pulled out to the coiling diameter you can see the gap between the screw and the rod gets bigger as the coil diameter get smaller when it should stay the same. Look at the gap between the screw and rod where the wire runs

Ahhh, ooops, didn't realise there was a coil master thread, no idea how to merge/move posts though, but I'll continue here if I need to. Sorry about hijacking the other thread folks, wasn't intentional

Though every recent coiler thread has had posts about several different types it's the AAE-C way.

Dear VapingBad thank you very much for that tip, will try and get some of those screws today!!! The good thing is that I mainly use 2.0 and 2.5 rod, so my coils were not that bad. I also found out what was my mistake in making the coils... I was pressing, and pressing too hard, the cup (the part with the screw on it) while I was making the coil, so all the wraps were the mess... one on to another... Finally, after spending too many meters of wire, the secret for a decent coil is to have the cup freely rotate and all you got to do is gently hold it, just hold it and rotate it... and be more gentle for thinner diameters... Now I'm ok and thanks God I didin't try so far the 1.0 and 1.5 rod, because I would have a flying kuro... your post saved me from taking extra pills... Thanks again VapingBad !!!

I'm hoping the little screw things and extra wire arrive today so I can finally make some useable coils.....it's tank maintenance day, they all ned a clean, recoil and new wick.... So maybe I'll wait till the postie has been. I'm sure it will be great once I get the hang of it hearing that other peeps are having success does help a lot, otherwise I think I'd have binned it. Keep the hints and tips coming folks.

VapingBad, knowing you have both the same as I, which do you prefer thinking 3mm, which is what I use mostly. The reason I ask is that with the Coil Master it only took me a couple of goes to get a decent coil without it wrapping over itself, but with the Kuro I am having nightmares, coils keep going over other ones all the time and I end up unwrapping them then winding the bad bit manually.

The FT Kuros only arrived today Bob my first impression is that the Coil Master is a little better as with the screws nearest the rod the gap where your wire goes is smaller so you are less likely to wrap over the previous wrap. And you can take the rod of easily to support the coil while fitting without having to have an extra hand to support the coilers handle.

The FT Kuros feel a lot more solid but think you are right the CM does seem to work better for me

Quite happy now, just used the CM to coil 10 evod type heads for OH. 2mm post, .25mm Kanthal, all have come out pretty well. It does work, you just have to be aware of any pressure on the top cap. I have ordered some of the screws though, just think as VapingBad says, they will reduce the gap a bit.
