OK, I have a flask on order with FC. For simplicity's sake, what is the best NI wire to buy? What is the difference with the tempered wire? And where is the best place to get it in the UK? I'll be coiling either the Lemo, Orchid, Subtank or KF4, if that makes a difference lairey I find that .32 seems to work best in the lemo. perfect, just what I needed. @windows. I have a reel of every guage of kanthal known to man, or so it seems. I really don't have room for the same in NI!

They are, but seen a couple of post today saying they are OOS. Tempered is stiffer or more kanthal like to work with, there was another UK vendor, but can't remember who. Vape Mesh company, think Midlands sell some as well, googling "Ni200 UK" brings up a few vendors It was Midlands, but they are OSS too, VMC don't do tempered although I told them in Nov that was the stuff to get before they stocked NI200 and gave them links to Brandon from Evolv recommending it. Actually the ignored me asking if their wire worked on the DNA40 until I publicly moaned on UKV, then they provided the spec and I had to tell them there pure nickel was fine, well except the oil residue.

Just seen the paint on the threading for the bottom battery caps, mine arent like that, no overspray on mine at all. The box pic shows brass on the 510. A bit odd. The bottom has lost the MADE IN USA as well Someone on the FT thread said that may be photoshopping so as not to upset VaporFlask, I think they changed the name on one of the other versions to VaporPlask ??? The "Vaporplask" is an alias name on the threads I think Bob to stop FT deleting posts and links on the threads, you will see FC and f cal to describe FOCALECIG on the threads there as well. I dont think they are photoshopped, I think they are just a bad paintjob and a different source than Kangxin. I wouldn`t go near the FT ones until someone has reviewed them, personally. I know for a fact that Kangxin have adjusted the programme to improve it and if others are doing the same, who knows what they will perform like.

Just got some titanium wire through the post, gonna give it a go later on I think you will need to go to about 60% temperature setting and don't pulse, not v hot and if you get white stuff on the coil from pulsing bin it and use a fresh piece. It won't be as accurate as nickel. E: that would be 60% of the temp diff so (T - 65) * 0.6 + 65 if your at 65 F.

(I edited that a few mins after I posted it hours age) The word is it works and you have to half the temp, but by the maths IIRC it would be what I put and it will not be as accurate as nickel. The wire may effect the taste or be a little or may be easier to coil (I doubt it, but you don't know until someone tries) so I would wait for gunny pig ( robby) to report back on how he found it after a few days.
