I received a GP Heron V1.5 today that I bought used. It is in as new condition and come with a load of spares. The first thing I like is apart from the coil posts it all just push fits together and tolerances are excellent. I got the 510 adapter but decided to pop it onto my GUS Lord in hybrid mode. Coil 8 wraps 28AWG, 2.5mm @ 1.37ohms and wicked with Koh Gen Do cotton. I am absolutely blown away with the quality of this atomiser. Flavour is excellent and lots of vapour.
I have only been using it for a few hours but it is up there with the best atomisers I have at the moment.

They are a cracking atomiser. Never had a leak or dry hit and a doddle to set up. Mine lives on a 18500 paps using the hybrid thingy (clones). Might buy a real one eventually.

Yup, it's my favourite 22mm atty. As you say, no leaks, simple to set up and fantastic flavour. It won't suit everyone - airflow is limited - but if you like a coil between 0.8 and 1.5 ohms, it's a cracking buy.
I have two clones and an original v1.5. The clones are good and ridiculously cheap and perform well; whereas the original oozes quality, and solves the condensation issue that you get with the clones.

Same setup here, it works very well, in fact most of my favourite atties are the filler type, i have a few. Only thing i don't particularly like is the push-fit, i'd prefer it to be threaded but that doesn't affect how it performs so it's a minor gripe for me.

I have been using this for almost 24 hours now and I am already thinking about getting another when my vaping budget has recovered.

Sorry cannot remember size of drill I used. *** Will check & post back on Wednesday 14th the drill size **** Heron CLONE ONLY drill out bell unit to 3mm diameter www.vapourart.com/en/announcement/gp-heron-update

I think it's 1.5mm that it needs drilling to, from what I've read. macmagoo - I think jeffc's advice was for me. My original, with the v1.5 upgrade is fine -but the cloners copied the v1 for dime strange reason, and haven't updated their model yet...

They obviously sell well when they are available because Vapour Art are sold out.
