The ohm thing is a bit of a mystery tbh. I saw how nice the evod 2 looked on the evod battery on your vid so figured it had to be done

Looks like the head is duff. The juice is somehow getting in there and leaking out of the hole in the battery connector

The ohm thing still confuses me after 2 and bit years so don't worry. Yes they are a perfect match. The evod battery will be a lot longet than your current battery so be prepared.

The length can be no bad thing. As soon as I put the evod on my baby battery it just didn't feel right

As others have said, obviously check all the usual stuff first. Is the coil screwed in tightly? Also check to make sure that the base of the Evod 2 tank is aligned properly. If it's been inaccurately machined, the coil may be seated at a slight angle, creating a gap. You should be able to establish this by eye.

It's also possible the that rubber chimney seal on the coil has been depressed, which is creating a leak. What you can do is double up on this rubber by taking the cap from another (preferably used) coil and placing it on the current coil. See the image below for a better idea of what I mean.

Thanks for all the tips. The eBay seller has sent me another tank and said keep the other as a spare. Should arrive today hopefully. Got my new evod battery now as well so looking forward to a decent vape tonight

I know you can get some good stuff from E/bay but be very carefull there is one hell of a lot of Duff gear out there since vaping took off, and I think it's one of the reason we have a list of trusted Vendors here, I am now in the habit of checking everything before I use it, with atties I make sure all the O rings and stuff are in place and do the same with coils, never presume that something straight out the box is Ok, they are mass produced and just thrown together, if you follow the advice these guys and gals give you on here you won't go wrong, I'm sure if I hadn't found this site and followed their advice I would have gone back to stinkies, and don't forget no matter how silly you may think a question is! always ask because someone will know the answer,,

I ordered my battery from ukecigcabin. Was impressed with their service so will probably stick with them now

Toni over at ukecigcabin is one of the top vendors on here. Not the cheapest but speed of delivery and customer service are worth it imo.

Yep, was waiting for me when I got home and its working great. I compared the bad coil to the good one. The 2 little holes on each side of the bad coil basically looked empty whereas you could see the wick material on the new one. I ordered some new coils too so now have a spare tank and coils
