I'd like to put out a plea for help for a good friend of mine, Paula Wade.

Paula is the owner of VapourWorld, and just recently her premises were done over by some low-life thieving scum. Not only did they clear her out, they also completely trashed her place. Smashing up her computers, destroying all her records in the process.

A lot of her stock is branded with the name AURORA, so I'm pleading with you to keep on the lookout for anyone trying to sell her stuff.

The only saving grace is they didn't manage to get into her mixing/bottling room, if they had, it would have ruined her

Her premises are in Withernsea, so if you live in that area, please be extra diligent.

doesn't read like straight forward thieving to me?  

Bit stuck for words but am thinking of the members here only at the moment, clearing out records is not usually done by "thieving scum bags"

Ooh, don't get me going @letsavit. But yeah, I'd expect them to steal the computers, not smash them up. Unless they only wanted stuff they could get in bags.
Could also suspect this to be staged for revenge reasons. Who has she upset in the area? Any competing businesses in the area?

How awful and upsetting for Paula, although she is quite low profile as a Vendor, she has been about for a good while and supported the community well.

Chrissie's brother lives near to her if I remember correctly.

Whatever the motivation (theft and / or malice) this is a horrible thing to happen to her.

Yes it reads like "business"  im not saying it is or its right and know nothing of this company nor the incident.

He does live very close to her but doesn't really know her.

Ha ha, Im recently single myself so yea could of been subconscious wishful thinking......  

just thinking safety here first, no hard fast rules with crime but typically kids smash stuff up and thief's that target want in and out with minimal noise. Just hope the police are looking at all avenues and everyone's safety.

My neighbourhood got targeted before Christmas and and quite a few houses got done including the elderly lady next door but one. Mine didn't get touched but im a 6ft + guy with a burglar bat under my bed and one by the front door, also have a bulldog on guard when I'm out, I wonder why.....scum...

Just read this to Chris, who works closely with police. He says there are low life suck out there who just go to cause as much trouble as possible theft and vandalism is unfortunately not that rare
