I used to use 306 atomisers for tasting, but some tastes seem to be difficult to wash out, and dry-burning isn't recommended. So I bought some Igo-Ls from Fasttech. Lots cheaper - £10-60 for 3, free post. Took 13 days to arrive. The Fasttech one is on the left - the one on the right I bought ages ago, could be an "original". Fasttech's is a shade larger. Slightly weird drip-tip, but it feels OK in the mouth. It came built with a dual coil, around 1.1 ohms. My Vamo refused to fire up one of the ones I bought - low ohm. No sweat - worked OK on my old black LT and anyway you expect to rebuild these things - coming with a decent build is a bonus. I think I drilled out the air hole a little on the original, but I don't think I'll need to with these. Also came with 2 spare o-rings and two more coils made. All in all nice value for money.

Has the fasttech one got two airholes? If not, it might be a bit harsh with dual coils. Still they're great atties for what they do - my first rebuildable was an igo-l.

Ahhhh my first rda before moving up to mephistos, tobhs etc as the lil post holes drove me nuts. gave mine away but it was fun to learn on. Mind I drilled mine out but went through 6 crappy drill bits doing it

I'm 3 years into my vaping journey and still use the good old trusty igo-l .

My Igo-L arrived this morning too, single airhole ionian must admit I'm not too sure about whether I like it or not, though that said it could just be I don't like the juice I used (Vampire Vape Strawberry Milkshake). I also find the lack of a crackle from the coil a bit weird lol I did ramp the watts up to 8.5 on the mvp but found that was really harsh and warm and I didn't enjoy it so back down to 6.5 I went which is better. I will probably do a single coil rebuild on it when I get round to it and see if thats any better for me, plus try a few different juices as well. Very impressed with the build quality though and the extra bits in the box all for £3.26. Bargain.

IGO-L was my first dripper too, easy to build, and really quick to swop over a new coil when required. Cheap as chips, and I still use mine for juice-testing (don't we all!?). Great introduction to recoiling and dripping for those that have never tried it before.

The build on the third one wasn't so good - started at 2.6 ohms, went down to 1.6 when I tightened it up, but still didn't seem right - maybe bad connection. So I threw it out and tried the spare coils supplied. The wicks are long enough to build with just one of them, have to cut them down to fit both in. Still not great. Maybe just I've still got too much wick in there, may need to drill out the airhole.

giles- not sure if it's been mentioned, but you need to make sure that the airhole is right next to the coil, otherwise it's really weak and uninteresting. I suspect you will need a second hole drilled if you are working with two coils too - others will no doubt confirm or deny this soon

I'm just using my Igo L (cheapie FT one) to test my diy juices, but until I drilled the air hole out a bit I really wasn't impressed! Now though I really love it

You may be right about the second hole chykensa, but the other two seem fine. And drilling a new hole is probably going to be trickier than widening an old one. But I'll give it a try if widening the current hole doesn't help.
